<03-04-2021> Thai was adopted by Ms. Chan today! C624-Thai was rescued by Anima on 16th December 2013, after a call reporting that a cat was found with both back legs broken. The cat was rescued and sent to a clinic for treatment. After recovering, Thai was welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Thai found a forever family! Thanks for adopting, Ms. Chan! Anima–April Rescue (2360-Rolling)!

<03-04-2021> 2360-Rolling (M), a dog around one year old, was rescued by Anima on the 3rd April 2020, following a call from Mr. Kwong reporting that a dog was found lying unable to move on the roadside of Estrada do Altinho de Ka-Ho. Our team rescued Rolling and took him immediately to a clinic. X-ray results revealed that both his front leg and right hind leg were fractured in a total of four different areas. Surgical fracture repair procedure is needed in two separate surgeries. The costs will reach around MOP 25,000. If you are able to help Rolling, please donate to Anima. Our sincere thank you! Anima–April Sad News (C2209-Esra)!

<02-04-2021> C2207-Everett (M), C2208-Ethan (M), both close to one year old and C2209-Esra (M), around two years old back then, were rescued by Anima on 26th September 2019, from IAM due to lack of space. They were all welcome to our Cats' Paradise! C2209-Esra was found sick on 16th March 2021. She was sent for the clinic for consultation. After a few exams, medication was prescribed and C2209-Esra needs to stay under fluids as she refused to eat. Her prognosis was bad, and despite all medical efforts, she did not survive. Anima–April Rescue (C2571-Pacific)!

<01-04-2021> C2571-Pacific (M), a cat around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 1st April 2021, following a call from Ms. Lei reporting that she found an adult cat with a leash on his neck at Rua de Inácio Pessoa. Our Rescue Team was mobilized and collected the cat. Pacific is friendly and he does not have microchip. Nearby shop owners were inquired, and no one reported to recognize the cat. Anima–April Rescue (2356 and 2357)!

<01-04-2021> Two puppies, 2356-Fang (F) and 2357- Falk (M), both two and half months old, were rescued by Anima on 26th March 2021, after a call from Mr. Lam reporting that two puppies were trapped in the water drainage system at Estrada de Nossa senhora de Ka Ho. The puppies were stuck, but our team was able to rescue them. Falk has a corneal ulcer on his right eye and will receive treatment. Both were welcomed in our Dogs’ Shelter. Thanks, Mr. Lam! <31-03-2021> B205-Daffy, a baby dove, was rescued by Anima on 31st March 2021, following a call from Ms. Sou reporting that a baby bird was found near L'Arch Hotel unable to fly. Anima–March Rescue (2355-Wong Chai)!

<30-03-2021> On 23rd March 2021, Anima was informed that a dog, 2355-Wong Chai (M), around one year old, was being kept inside a small cage in a corridor at Ed. Ip Heng, Seac Pai Van. Wong Chai had been there already for several days and the owner had refused to bring him inside his apartment, even under police request. Our team was mobilized and contacted I.A.M. The area was found with poor hygiene. With the help of I.A.M. inspectors, the dog was rescued on the same day and taken to Macau Municipal Kennel. Today, Wong Chai’s property was transferred to Anima! He will be welcomed into our Dogs’ Shelter later this week. Thank you for the support, I.A.M.! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–March Rescue (SPP710-Pac Sa)!

<30-03-2021> SPP710-Pac Sa (F), around 11 years old, was rescued by Anima on 30th March 2021, after receiving a call from IAM reporting that SPP710-Pac Sa was send to Macau kennel because she was not feeling well. In I.A.M., blood test results showed that she is anemic. Physical body check found an external vaginal infection and she was also tested positive for Babesia Canis and B. Gibsoni. According to the vets, it was prescribed medicine and treatment. One more vet suspect that Pac Sa has severely high hemolysis She will be staying in a clinic for a few days, under medical observation and health care. Thanks, IAM! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-March Newborns (C2568, C2569, C2570)!

<30-03-2021> Our cat C2497-Vava gave birth to three kittens today! Vava was rescued by Anima on 30th January 2021, after being found injured in Calçada do Monte. She had a mandibular symphyseal fracture, most probably due to a road traffic accident or a fall from a height. We soon found out that she was also pregnant. C2568-Hinata, C2569-Katana and C2570-Tsubasa were born this morning. As Vava is still recovering from a surgery, she’s being fostered with the newborn kittens by one of our staff.  Please help us to help them!
