Anima–March Adoption (C2542 and C2543)!

<23-03-2021> Mercedes and Tesla were adopted by Mr. Sou, today! C2542-Mercedes (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd March 2021, after setting up a few cat traps on the top of our ceilings in Cats’ Paradise. A vet and two staff from IAM visited our Cats’ Paradise in the afternoon to check the condition of C2542-Mercedes and he was welcome to Anima. C2543-Tesla (F), around six years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th March 2021, after being caught by our staff wandering around the roofs of Cats’ Paradise. Tesla did not have microchip and she was not neutered. This is the second mixed Bengal cat rescued that week, both caught in similar circumstances. Mercedes and Tesla found a home, now. Anima-New SPP dog (SPP2354-Atwood)!

<21-03-2021> SPP2354-Atwood (M), a dog around 10 months old, is now registered on our Special Protection Program (SPP). He is living under Ms. Wong’s responsibility in Ka Ho Workshop and Anima will provide food, medical care and later a spay surgery if needed. Thanks for your support, Ms. Wong! Anima-March Rescue (C2555-Lollipop)!

<21-03-2021> C2555-Lollipop (F), a kitten around four weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 21th March, 2021 following a call from Ms. Teresa reporting that a kitten had fallen from a high wall into her yard. Our Rescue Team was mobilized and Lollipop was rescued. Another kitten, C2368-Lazaro, was rescued by Anima in this site in similar circumstances in July, 2020. According to Ms. Teresa, the kitten’s mother has been living in the area for a few years and became pregnant multiple times. Inclusively, another kitten has passed away recently, after falling into a neighbors’ balcony. As the mommy might be nursing other kittens, we won’t rescue her for now. Anima will provide a spay surgery afterwards in order to prevent her from getting pregnant again. For safety, Lollipop was rescued and welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Anima-Dog Missing (2352-Coolio)!

<20-03-2021> 2352-Coolio (M), a dog around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 11th March, 2021 after being found wandering inside the car park of our Cats’ Paradise. Coolio was found dirty and without microchip. He was welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Coolio managed to jump over our fence and escape. Our team has been searching for Coolio without success. Anima– March Adoption (C2331-Quest)!

<20-03-2021> Quest was adopted by Mr. Yao today! C2331-Quest (F), a cat around one year old by the time of the rescue, was collected by Anima on the 1st May, 2020 after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that an injured cat was seen in her garage in Av. Anima-Yuet Wah College ‘Wewa’ Voluntary Corps visited us!

<20-03-2021> Today, we were visited by 64 people, of which 15 were from the Yuet Wah College ‘Wewa’ Voluntary Corps. The students visited our Cats’ Paradise and gave us a helpful hand doing volunteer work. Thank you for your visit and support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2020, we were visited by 10.495 people, compared with 7.487 visitors in 2019. Anima-March Rescue (2353-Coco)!

<19-03-2021> 2353-Coco (F), around 14 years old, was rescued by Anima on 19th March 2021, after being abandoned by the owner as she produced a musty smell due to severe skin problem and old age. 2535-Coco was licensed in Macau Kennel today. She had a consultation in I.A.M. and she was diagnosed with severe heart disease. A blood test was done, and the result indicated that she has anemia and infections. 2353-Coco was immediately sent to a clinic where she will be hospitalized. Thanks, IAM!
