Anima-March Rescue and Sad News (C2553-Fa Mui)!

<18-03-2021> C2553-Fa Mui (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 18th March 2021, when our rescue team found a dead body of a cat in Estrada de Hac Sa, where the bus stop is located. It was clearly hit by a vehicle as blood was everywhere and the eyes were popped out. The body was collected to be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our dear friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–March Adoption (C2523-Akio)!

<17-03-2021> Akio was adopted by Ms. Reis, today! C2523-Akio (M), around six months old, and C2524-Manki (M), around seven months old by the time, were rescued by Anima from Rua Dois do Bairro Iao Hon on 13th February 2021. These cats were rescued to ensure their safety following last shocking reports of several cats found dead in the area. Akio and Manki were both welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. These rescues were part of an extensive rescue operation in progress in Iao Hon and Anima was counting with the support of I.A.M. Akio was adopted by Ms. Reis, today! Thanks, Ms. Reis! Anima-March Rescue (B202-Studio)!

<17-03-2021> B202-Studio (M), an adult crested myna bird, was rescued by Anima on 17th March 2021, after received a call from Ms. Lou asking for help as she found an injured bird B202-Studio under some motorcycles in Avenida de Cotai. When rescue team arrived, Studio seems to be only flying very low and could not stand and sit properly. B202-Studio was sent to a clinic where he will be hospitalized until full recover. Anima–March Adoption (C2457-Tuga)!

<17-03-2021> Tuga was adopted by Mr. Teixeira, today! C2457-Tuga (F), a cat about seven months old by then, was rescued by Anima on 22nd December 2020, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that a loud meowing could be heard from the garage of the Consulate General of Portugal in Macau. Our rescue team was mobilized and having met all the needs, managed to access the indoor car park where a cat trap was set. The cat was rescued and was considered healthy. C2457-Tuga was then consulted and welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Tuga found a forever home! Thanks for adopting, Mr. Teixeira! Please help us to help them! <15-03-2021> C2552-Amos (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 15th March 2021, after received a call from Ms. Sofia asking for our help as her cat (Congee) was missing since 7th March 2021 from Taipa Ocean Garden (Plum Court). Congee was last seen running to the trail near Ocean Garden. Ms. Sofia also set up cat traps in that area to see if there was a chance to get back Congee. <15-03-2021> Keith was adopted by Ms. Siew, today! C2425-Keith (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2020, after we received Facebook message from Ms. Fong referring that her neighbor tied a kitten outside on a nylon string again and it was happening the second time. Anima reported to Macau Kennel immediately. The kitten was transferred to I.A.M. Our rescue team brought him to Anima. C2425-Keith was consulted and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima-March Return (C2132-Iliah)!

<14-03-2021> C2132-Iliah (M), a cat around one year old at the time of the rescue, was collected by Anima on 5th June, 2019 from IAM (Macau Kennel), as they had reached their maximum capacity. He was welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise and would be adopted in May of 2020. Today, Iliah was returned to our shelter by the adopter, as the family was no longer able to assure his basic care. Anima-Interact Club of S.K.H.C.K. School visited us!

<14-03-2021> Today, we were visited by 89 people, of which 18 were from the Interact Club of Sheng Kung Hui Choi Kou Macau School. The students visited our Cats’ Paradise and gave us a helpful hand with some volunteer work. Thank you for your visit and support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2020, we were visited by 10.495 people, compared with 7.487 visitors in 2019. Anima– March Adoption (R055-Sun Sun)!

<13-03-2021> Sun Sun was adopted by Mr. Kwok and family today! R055-Sun Sun (M) was rescued by Anima on 18th February, 2020 when he was around two years old. On that day, we received a call reporting that two rabbits were found abandoned in Ka-Ho Village, near Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Sun Sun was unable to walk and our Rescue team sent him to a clinic . According to the vet, the ligament of his right front leg was injured. He stayed hospitalized and was welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise after recovering. Today, Sun Sun found a forever home! Thank you for adopting, Mr. Kwok! Please help us to help them!
