Anima–December Rescue (C2451, C2452, C2453, C2454 and C2455)!

<20-12-2020> Five kittens were rescued by Anima today. C2451-Hawaii (F), C2452-Juniya (F), C2453-Kurisu (M), C2454-Haruki (M) and C2455-Hiroto (M), all around three weeks old, were rescued following a call from Mrs. Choi reporting to have found them in a workshop in Ilha Verde. They were very close to the site where kitten C2450-Kawaii was rescued yesterday and they all seem to be siblings. No mother cat was seen nearby. Mrs. Choi managed to rescue three kittens, but two other (Haruki and Hiroto) could be heard meowing at the site. Our Rescue team was mobilized and rescued Haruki. Hiroto, however, was found stuck inside a narrow 40-feet-deep pit (12 meters). We have contacted I.A.M. to assist us with the rescue and, eventually, Hiroto was successfully caught! Anima-December Sad News (C1406-Karen)!

<19-12-2020> Our cat C1406-Karen (F) has passed away today. Sadly, Karen’s general prognosis was very poor. Her health condition was weak and she had been suffering from acute kidney failure. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Karen was euthanized in a clinic today in an effort to shorten her agony. R.I.P. our dear friend! Anima–December Adoption (C2427-Belle)!

<19-12-2020> Belle was adopted today by Ms. Che! C2427-Belle, around one month old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2020, following a call reporting that a kitten was found limping at Bai Ning Carpark. Anima–December Rescue (C2447-Pixel)!

<17-12-2020> C2447-Pixel (M), around one and a half months old, was rescued by Anima on 17th December 2020, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that she heard a kitten crying inside the drainage in Taipa Grande park. She asked us help. Our Rescue Team caught him through patiently wait outside of the drainage, until he decided to appear to eat our cat food in a can. Anima–December Rescue (C2446-Watkins)!

<15-12-2020> C2446-Watkins (M), around five months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th December 2020, after a call from someone reporting that  a cat, C2446-Watkins, was meowing in the whole morning in the building R. da Ribeira do Patane 52J, Edf. Hou Kuong and suspected that C2446-Watkins was trapped or fell from some place to the ground floor. The person asked our help. Rescue Team arrived the site and found C2446-Watkins on the 1st floor of the building, and he was between the rooftop of the window-cage and the AC box. C2446-Watkins had been there meowing for long time. He is wearing a blue collar and no microchip was found. Rescue Team brought C2446-Watkins to Anima and he is now welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima–December Adoption (C2445-Bumbo)!

<14-12-2020> Bumbo was adopted today by Ms. Carla! C2445-Bumbo (F), a kitten around eight weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 11th December 2020, after we received a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a kitten was hiding under the bumper of his car at Estrada de Pac On. Our Rescue team was mobilized and, with the help of I.A.M., managed to rescue the kitten. Bumbo seemed healthy and was sent to our Cats’ Paradise where she was checked, defleaed and dewormed. Anima-December Adoption (C2420-Hiro)!

<14-12-2020> Hiro was adopted today by Ms. Carvalho! C2420-Hiro (M), around six weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 27 October 2020, after we received a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she saw a kitten being chased by four dogs and hidden between the rocks on an abandoned site on Rua de Viseu, two days before. Rescue Team went there and found the kitten hidden in a hole on the slope at the site. He was sent to a clinic to check his weak hind legs. According to the vet, X-ray results showed no fracture and Hiro was maybe limping due to a neuron problem. C2420-Hiro was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise with prescribed medication.
