Anima-Shiu Pong College (UM) helped us!

<11-11-2020> Today, we were visited by 9 people who were from Shiu Pong College (University of Macau) and helped us in our Dogs' Shelter with internal work of Anima! Everyone had the opportunity to play with our four-legged companions! Thank you for your visit! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! Until the beginning of November 2020, we have welcomed 8,575 visitors, compared with 6,217 visitors in the same period last year! <11-11-2020> C438-Mau Mau (M), a senior resident of our Cats’ Paradise, has been with us since 2013. His health condition worsened suddenly this week. Anima–November Rescue (C2426-Kabir)!

<11-11-2020> C2426-Kabir (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2020, after we received a Facebook message from Ms. Tang referring that there was a male adult cat, Kabir, maybe lost and hungry in Rua de Tomás Pires. He was there for a week, according to her neighbors. The cat was caught by I.A.M. Our rescue team brought him to Anima. C2426-Kabir was consulted and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Tang! Anima–November Rescue (C2425-Keith)!

<11-11-2020> C2425-Keith (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2020, after we received Facebook message from Ms. Fong referring that her neighbour tied a kitten outside on a nylon string again and it’s happening the second time. Anima reported to Macau Kennel immediately. The kitten was transferred to I.A.M. Our rescue team brought him to Anima. C2425-Keith was consulted and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Fong! Anima–November Foster (2185-Leslie, 2186-Gut Chai)!

<10-11-2020> Leslie and Gut Chai were temporarily fostered by Mr. Danny today! 2185-Leslie (M), around six years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 18th October 2019, after a call from Ms. Suzanna who found a Husky wandering alone in the street. Our rescue team recognized the dog that used to have an owner in a workshop and has a small dog as a life partner. Anima searched for Leslie’s buddy after rescuing him and found 2186-Gut Chai (M), around six years old by the time, who was also rescued by our rescue team on the18th October 2019. Anima-November Sad News (SPPC1431-Jaxson)!

<10-11-2020> SPPC1431-Jaxson (M), eight years and four months old by the time, was under our Special Protection Program and he was rescued by Anima through Michele on 24th February 2017, somewhere in Taipa when he was around five years old. SPPC1431-Jaxson was adopted by Mr. Froseth on 6th July 2020. Mr. Froseth intended to go back to Norway and he wanted to bring SPPC1431-Jaxson with him. Unfortunately, Jaxson became weak with kidney problems and died today. Please accept our condolences, Mr. Froseth! R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (B178-Kirby)!

<10-11-2020> B178-Kirby, an adult dove, was rescued by Anima today, after being found by our rescue team on their way to deliver dog food to Ka Ho workshop. The dove was lying on the road with feathers scattered around surrounded by many dogs. B178-Kirby had a very weak breath and died quickly. His body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–November Rescue (C2424-Alphard)!

<08-11-2020> C2424-Alphard (F), a kitten around three months old, was rescued by Anima today, following a demanding rescue operation carried out in cooperation with the Fire Department. In the afternoon, we received a call from Ms. Sio reporting that a kitten was trapped inside her car in N.A.P.E. The Fire Department had already been mobilized, but the kitten remained stuck after more than one hour of unsuccessful attempts. They asked us for help. After some effort, our staff managed to lure the kitten and slowly pull her out between the different components of the car's engine. Alphard was then sent to a clinic, where she is now hospitalized receiving a full health check. We are grateful for the support of everyone who helped out in this rescue! Please help us to help them!
