Anima-October Rescue (C2402-C2408)!

<10-10-2020> C2402-Forky (newborn), C2403-Gabby (F), around one year old, C2404-Buzz (newborn) and C2405-Woody (newborn), as well as C2406-Tifa (F), C2407-Tova (F) and C2408-Terra (F), all around seven months old, were rescued by Anima on the 10th October 2020, following a visit to a site under the responsibility of an elderly lady, who has asked for our help with long-term food support for her animals. Unexpectedly, we were taken to a patio of a building where 11 cats were found in small cages, inside a narrow and dark improvised room. Due to the severe state they were in, without minimum living conditions, we immediately started developing plans to an extensive rescue operation, which started today. When our rescue team arrived to the site to start the rescue, a newborn kitten, C2402-Forky, was found meowing on the floor. We found out that a caged cat, C2403-Gabby (F) was in labor!...

Anima–October Rescue (C2400, C2401)!

<09-10-2020> C2400-Nicky (F), around three years old, (F) and C2401-Jambo (M), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on 9th October 2020, after a call from I.A.M. (Macau Kennel) reporting that they have no more space for cats at the moment. Both cats were vaccinated, sterilized, and microchipped through IAM. C2400-Nicky and C2401-Jambo were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima and IAM cooperate in specific situations to help as more animals as possible. Thanks, I.A.M.! Please help us to help them! Anima–October Adoption (C2368-Lazaro)!

<09-10-2020> Lazaro was adopted today, by Ms. Teng! C2368-Lazaro (M), around two months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 6th July 2020, after a call from Ms. Teresa referring that there was a mother cat with a few kittens living at the back of her house on R. de Inácio Baptista. She asked us help. Rescue team went there and found a kitten that had fallen from a high wall onto the ground under a tree. The kitten, C2368-Lazaro, was sent immediately to a clinic for treatment. Anima-October Sad News (SPP2276-Moana)!

<09-10-2020> SPP2276-Moana (F), around three years old by the time, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 25th May 2020, under Mr. Ip’s responsibility in Ka-Ho Workshop. During dog feeding yesterday, our rescue team reported that SPP2277-Eeyore, also under our Special Protection Program (SPP) in the same place has skin problem on his back, while SPP2276-Moana was getting skinny. As the worker who can get hold of both dogs is only working today, our vet went there to check both dogs. SPP2276-Moana was found dead already when Anima arrived, with a lot of saliva with blood stain in the mouth area and poo with pure blood. It is suspected poison or internal hemorrhage due to other diseases. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-October Sad News (B172-Dalila)!

<08-10-2020> B172-Dalila (F), an adult dove, was rescued by Anima on the 7th October 2020, after one of our staff, Mr. Danilo, reporting that she was found inside of one pen full of dogs and unable to fly. B172-Dalila was sent to a clinic and she stood there during overnight under medical care. Unfortunately, Anima was contacted by the clinic reporting that B172-Dalila was not improving, and she passed away today. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-October Sad News (C1574-Wendi)!

<02-10-2020> C1574-Wendi (F) and C1575-Wolf (F), around two years and five years old by the time, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 3rd June 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, informing that she rescued them in Guia where she used to feed cats, but the cats there were being poisoned. She asked us to help. They were checked by our vet and de-wormed. C1574-Wendi was spayed and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, her condition was getting worst due to her respiratory problems. Medication was not enough to help Wendi improving because secondary effects. Wendi was suffering already for long time. After discussing with the vet, and approved by tow Anima board members, she was euthanized today in no pain conditions.
