Anima-New SPP cat (SPPC2386-Pepper)!

<08-08-2020> SPPC2386-Pepper (M), around three years old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), under Ms. Carla’s responsibility at Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro. Ms. Carla reported that there was a grey male cat who seems to be in pain from all the bites of flees and parasites in his fur at her workplace. Our Rescue Team caught SPPC2386-Pepper and he was directly brought to a clinic. After consultation, SPPC2386-Pepper was dewormed, defleaed and desexed. Anima-September Return (SPPC2385-Blacky II)!

Anima-September Sad News (C2135-Icarus)!

<07-09-2020> C2135-Icarus (M), around one year old by the time, was rescued on the 12th June 2019 from the kennel due to lack of space and he was welcomed in our Cats’ Paradise! In August, Icarus was getting skinny and anemic with dry discharge on his face. Blood test results showed positive for Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) and medication was prescribed. Recently, C2135-Icarus was sent to a clinic where they suspect that he had Feline Infection Peritonitis (FIP). He came back to our Cats’ Paradise and started the treatment with medication. However, C1754- Icarus started to be lethargic, lost appetite and having difficulty breathing today. He was sent to the clinic again for closely observation, but Anima was informed, later that C1754- Icarus passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–September Adoption (H059, H060)!

<06-09-2020> Physalis and Sapodilla were adopted by Ms. Rebeka! Eight hamsters, H055-Star Fruit (M), H056-MangoSteen (M), H057-JuJuBe (M), H058-Rambutan (M), H059-Physalis (M), H060-Sapodilla (M), H061-Guara (M) and H062-Golden Apple (M), all around three months old by the time, were rescued by Anima on the 2nd June, 2020 after receiving a Facebook message by Mr. Hong reporting that eight hamsters were found abandoned in the park of Lok Kuan Building (Seac Pai Van) in a cage. All hamsters were rescued and brought to our Dog Shelter. Today, H059-Physalis and H060-Sapodilla were adopted by Ms. Rebeka! Thanks, Ms. Rebeka! Please, Adopt and never Buy! <03-09-2020> C2382-Grayson (M), around one year and seven months old and C2383-Lincoln (M), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on 3rd September 2020, from Macau Kennel as they are out of space. Anima-September Sad News (C1754-Fairfax)!

<02-09-2020> C1751-Faas (M), C1752-Faddy (M), C1753-Fabienne (F), C1754-Fairfax (M), C1755-Farah (F), C1756-Fedora (F), C1757-Feri (M), C1758-Femke (F) and C1759-Feray (F), were rescued by Anima on 10th November 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. Since 2019, Fairfax has medical history of kidney problems, being anemic and having severe infections sometimes. For long time, he has been under subcutaneous fluids and supplements or medication.
