Anima-August Return (SPP2279-Nancy)!

<04-08-2020> SPP2276-Moana (F), SPP2277-Eeyore (M), SPP2278-Fancy (F), all around three years old, with their two puppies, SPP2279-Nancy (F) and SPP2280-Clancy (F), both around three months old by the time they were rescued, are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 25th May 2020. Today, SPP2279-Nancy was spayed in a clinic and Anima supported it. Nancy returned back today to Ka Ho Work Shop and she is still under Mr. Ip’s responsibility. Thanks, Mr. Ip! Anima–August Rescue (C2373-Cullen)!

<03-08-2020> C2373-Cullen (M), around three weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd August 2020, after Ms. Bing brought the kitten to our Cats’ Paradise. She asked us to help. The kitten, Cullen, was collected by our rescue team, clinically observed and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. C2373-Cullen is now temporarily fostered by our staff member Mandy, to be fed with milk. Anima-August Sad News (464-Hera)!

<03-08-2020> 464-Hera (F), around eight years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 19th march 2009. Recently, 464-Hera was having trouble with an abnormal breathing and vomiting. <01-08-2020> C2233-Brook (M), around one month old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 16th November 2019, after a call reporting that one kitten was found abandoned in a box. He was sent to a clinic and was then welcome at our Cat's Paradise. Brook would later be adopted on 14th May 2020. Recently, however, the adopter has complained about his behavior and it seems that he wasn’t able to fully adapt to his new home successfully. C2233-Brook was returned to Anima today. Anima-August Sad News (C1236-Carr)!

<01-08-2020> C1236-Carr (M), around five months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 10th July 2016, following a call reporting that four cats were in Pou Tai Un Temple but some people in the area were not friendly and did not allow them to be fed. C1236-Carr and three other cats were then rescued and sent to our Cat’s Paradise. Found very skinny and de-hydrated on 30th July 2020, he was sent to a clinic for checking. He was tested positive for Pancreatitis. After a couple days, we were informed today by the clinic that he has passed away. R.I.P. our friend! Never abandon your pets! Anima-August Sad News (415-Kira)!

<01-08-2020> On 20th May 2020, it was reported by our handler that 415-Kira couldn’t stand up and was showing lack of appetite. She was sent to a clinic for consultation on the following day. Blood test results revealed urinary tract infection and X-rays showed that she had bone spurs. Her condition worsened very quickly and, despite all medical care, she progressed from limping to paralysis. She also suffered with the several pressure sores on her body. Weak and in constant need of force feeding, her health deterioration was irreversible and her life seemed to have become too distressing. After discussing with the vet, and approved by two Anima board members, she was euthanized today in no pain conditions. The last decision is always from the President of Anima and it is always very hard to make! R.I.P. our friend! Never abandon your pets! <31-07-2020> Hercules and Hulk were adopted by Ms. Man, today! C2369-Hercules (M) and C2370-Hulk (M), both three months old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 7th July 2020, after a referral case from Masdaw reporting that two kittens were found caged at Hac Sa Beach near Fernando’s Restaurant. Anima reported to I.A.M immediately. They were previously rescued by I.A.M on 25th July 2020, but later both were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Hercules and Hulk were adopted by Ms. Man, today!
