Anima–August Foster Family (2274-Goofy)!

<17-08-2020> Goofy was fostered by Ms. Cheang, today! 2274-Goofy (M), a poodle around four years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 18th May 2020, after our staff members found him tied to a pole outside our Dog Shelter’s entrance. Anima-August Rescue (SPP2298, SPP2300)!

<17-08-2020> SPP2298-Beckie (F) and SPP2300-Brianna (F), both around 10 months old, are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 21st July and 9th August 2020, respectively, under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in Parque Industrial da Concórdia. SPP2298-Beckie and SPP2300-Brianna are the siblings of SPP2234-Benson, SPP2236-Betzy and SPP2299-Kinki. Today, both were rescued by Anima. SPP2298-Beckie was already spayed last month and now SPP2300-Brianna was sent to a clinic for the same. Brianna went back to our Dogs’ Shelter where she will stay near the siblings until recover. Anima–August Foster Family (SPP2284-Simba)!

<17-08-2020> Simba was fostered by Ms. Chao, today! SPP2284-Simba (M), around one year old by the time, is under our Special Protection Program since the 13th June, 2020 after a call from Ms. Chao reporting that a dog was found on the side of a road in Macau, without leash and harness. Our rescue team went to the site and verified that he had no microchip. Due to the lack of space in our shelter, Simba was fostered again today by Ms. Chao! Thanks, Ms. Chao! Anima-August Sad News (442-Caju)!

<17-08-2020> 442-Caju (M) is one of Anima’s old dogs in our Dog’s Shelter. Recently, 442-Caju was walking abnormally and the both rear legs were weak. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. X-ray results and ultrassound revealed that he had a mass in his liver, probably due to a malignant cancer, along with muscle atrophy. Today, 442-Caju passed away in Anima with around 12 years old. <16-08-2020> Today, we were visited by 66 people from Macau Flying Eagle Association at our Cat’s Paradise, of which 60 were students and six teachers! Thanks for your strong support! Anima–August Sad News (C1374-Caramel II)!

<16-08-2020> C1374-Caramel II (M), around five years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 3rd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Filipa reporting that she has rescued a cat one and a half years ago in Cheoc Van but was not able to keep him anymore, due to his behavior and aggressiveness. C1374-Caramel II was welcome at our Cats’ Paradise. Meanwhile, Caramel has developed kidney stones on both sides of his kidneys. His health condition, however, didn’t allow us to advance to surgery as he certainly would not endure the anesthesia, according to veterinary doctors. He stayed hospitalized for treatment multiple times, but unfortunately his health didn’t improve. Today, C1374-Caramel has passed away in a clinic. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-New SPP dog (SPP2301-Jacky)!

<15-08-2020> SPP2301-Jacky (M), around eight years old, became under our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 15th August 2020. Jacky was brought to our attention last February, when his previous adopter, Mr. Wei, called us informing that he would no longer be able to keep Jacky, amid concerns over a newborn baby now in the family. He asked us to help him to find a new home. Following a Facebook post by Anima, Jacky, now Faruk Pinto Belo, was adopted by Mr. Armando, who has already adopted two cats from Anima in the past. Today, Anima supported a castration for SPP2301-Jacky (Faruk Pinto Belo) in a clinic. He returned to his adopter after surgery. Thanks, Mr. Armando! Please help us to help them! Anima-August Sad News (B163-Ines)!

<15-08-2020> B163-Ines, a pigeon, was rescued by Anima on 14th August 2020, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that a pigeon was found on the road of Avenida da Concórdia unable to fly. Ines was immediately sent to a clinic, where two pustules were found on its cheek and neck, caused by a virus. Its right hind leg was fractured as well. B163-Ines ended up passing away in the clinic.
