C2390-Pagan (F), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 11th September 2020, after a call from Mr. Kenneth reporting that he rescued a kitten last night in a dumpster in Rua do Campo near Consulado Geral de Portugal. Anima-September Return (SPPC2388-Curry)!

<17-09-2020> SPPC2388-Curry (F), around three years old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), under Ms. Carla’s responsibility at Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro. Ms. Carla reported that there was a female who seems to be pregnant and need help. Our Rescue Team caught SPPC2388-Curry and she was directly brought to a clinic. After consultation, she was dewormed, defleaed and desexed. SPPC2388-Curry returned safely today to her place in São Lázaro. Thanks, Ms. Carla! Please help us to help them! Anima-September Rescue (C2395-Lani)!

<16-09-2020> C2395-Lani (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 16th September 2020, after a call from Ms. Wong referring that a cat was seen on the top of a canopy of her opposite flat in patio and he didn’t move. Her neighbor told that the cat has been there since the morning before and after he had heard a bang sound. Our Rescue team went to the site with 2 IAM staff, who came to assist upon request. C2395-Lani was sent directly to a clinic after being rescued. X-ray scans showed that Lani has a fracture on ulna bone of her right front leg. According to the vet, she would recover without any surgery. C2395-Lani has medication prescribed and she is welcome now to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Wong! Please help us to help them! <14-09-2020> Peach and Loquat were adopted today by Ms. Pattarin! H063-Peach (F), H064-Loquat (F), H065-Carambola (F), H066-Rose (F), H067-YangMei (F), H068-Chayote (F) and H069-Pitaya (F), all around three months old, were rescued by Anima on 12th June 2020, from Macau Kennel. They were rescued by I.A.M on 31st May, a case referral by Departamento Policial das Ilhas - Comissariado de Coloane, regarding that 7 hamsters were found abandoned on the side of the road at Seac Pai Van near a Bus Stop in a plastic box. <12-09-2020> Goofy was fostered by Mr. João! 2274-Goofy (M), a poodle around four years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 18th May, 2020 after our staff members found him tied up to a pole outside our Dog Shelter’s entrance in the early morning. He had been fostered by Ms. Cheang, who attended our request to temporarily foster Goofy when she adopted our other dog 2285-Piglet. Anima–September Sad News (C1539-Scout)!

<11-09-2020> C1538-Sanna (F) and C1539-Scout (M), around eight months and two years old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 18th May 2017, after a call from IACM, asking us to help keeping them in Anima as the kennel has no more space for other rescues. They had microchip, were neutered, properly vaccinated and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1539-Scout was not eating much, losing weight, and started to be dehydrated. He was sent to a clinic, where he stood under treatment. According to the vet, he was getting worst and suffering day by day. Today, Anima was informed that C1539-Scout died in the clinic.
