Anima–April Rescue and Return (SPP2241-Ah Mui)!

<25-04-2020> SPP2241-Ah Mui (F), around 12 years old and under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th March 2020, was rescued by Anima on 9th April 2020, after a call from Mr. O referring that SPP2241-Ah Mui had an eye problem. After diagnosis, it was suspected that SPP2241-Ah Mui had Blepharitis on the left eye and also Fungal Infection (Skin Problem) on the tail. She was sent to a Clinic for further examination as there was not improvement. Medical exams showed that Ah Mui’s right eye had swelling cornea and suspect her left eye had a cataract. SPP2241-Ah Mui was returned to Templo de A-Ma (Barra) after consultation and medication prescribed. Thanks, Mr. O! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Rescue and Sad News (SPP2228; SPP2219)!

<25-04-2020> The puppies, SPP2228-Judia and SPP2219-Julien, around five months old, were rescued by Anima on the 22nd April 2020, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that the puppy Julien had vomited what he ate, which was dog dry food plus some rice. Julien was tested for parvovirus and results showed positive. All the puppies were vaccinated before. SPP2228-Judia and SPP2219-Julien stayed on their site, under treatment and separated from other dogs. Today, SPP2219-Julien was found dead in the site. SPP2228-Judia was immediately sent to a clinic where she stays for recover. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–April Rescue (C2322, C2323, C2324)!

<25-04-2020> C2322-Quin (M), C2323-Quinta (F) and C2324-Queeny (F), all kittens around 2 weeks old, were rescued by ANIMA on 25th April 2020, after received a case referral from AniHelp – Oscar regarding that 3 kittens were found directly on the ground and under bushes by Mr. Lao at Jardim de Luís de Camões. He asked us to help. They are very weak with hypothermia, eyes discharge and yellowish nose discharges. Anima–April Return (B146-Cheetie)!

<25-04-2020> B146-Cheetie, a young dove, was rescued by Anima on 22nd April 2020, after a call from our staff Zoe reporting that a bird had been hiding under a van on R. de Kun Iam Tong, as reported by workers from a mechanic shop. B146-Cheetie’s tail feathers were falling out. Ms. Zoe sent B146-Cheetie to a Clinic for treatment. B146-Cheetie stayed in the clinic and today was returned to Nature! Thanks, Ms. Zoe! Anima–April Sad News (C314-Tash)!

<24-04-2020> C314-Tash (M), around eight years old now, was rescued by Anima on 24th February 2012. Recently, he was found skinny and not eating as usual. Blood test results showed anemia. C314Tash was sent to a clinic, where an ultrasound revealed an abnormal kidney volume. He needed to be hospitalized for treatment. Today, C314-Tash passed away in the clinic. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–April Sad News (2265-Pamina)!

<23-04-2020> 8 Puppies, 2258-Paige (M), 2259-Pax (M), 2260-Presley (M), 2261-Piers (M), 2262-Penley (M), 2263-Panya (F), 2264-Paza (F) and 2265-Pamina (F), all around 2 months old, were rescued by ANIMA on 18th April 2020, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a puppy their sibling, 2257-Pitt, had been injured from a dog fight in Coloane, near Escola de São José de Ka-Ho. 2265-Pamina was sent to a clinic and her medical exams confirmed positive for parvovirus. She was hospitalized for treatment there. 2265-Pamina passed away in the clinic today. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Adoption (C2264-Penny)!

<22-04-2020> Penny was adopted by Ms. Ian, today! C2264-Penny (M), around two months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 31st December 2019, after he was brought to our Cats’ Paradise by Ms. Ping. Penny could not open his eyes due to a heavy ocular discharge and he had cat flu as well. He was sent to the clinic for treatment and recover. Penny has been with us and now was adopted by Ms. Ian! <22-04-2020> The puppies, SPP2219-Julien and SPP2228-Judia, around five months old, were rescued by Anima on the 22nd April 2020, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that the puppy Julien had vomited the food he ate which was dog dry food plus some rice. <21-04-2020> C2321-Wallie (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on the 21st April 2020, after a call from Ms. Mak reporting that she found a sick kitten at the motorcycle parking on waterfront in Fai Chi Kei and her friend Mr. Yin was currently keeping him but not for a long period.
