Anima–April Sad News (H024-Biscuit)!

<29-04-2020> H024-Biscuit (M) and H025-Bibbles (F), both around four months old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 15th February 2018, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that there were two hamsters being abandoned in the street of Rua Central da Toi San. He asked us for help. H024-Biscuit and H025-Bibbles were collected by us and stayed in our shelter until now. Biscuit passed away in Anima today due to old age. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–April Sad News (C2244-Kole)!

<29-04-2020> C2244-Kole (M), around one and a half years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 29th November 2019, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that he found a cat and her babies living in the air vent of a parking garage. Mr. Leong managed to catch another male cat instead the mother. C2244-Kole has been with us until now. On 26th April 2020, Kole had a lot of nasal discharge, vomited blood and breathing hard. He was sent to a clinic and tested positive for feline corona virus, developed into Feline Infection Peritonitis (FIP). C2244-Kole passed away today in our Cats’ Paradise. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–April Sad News (C1358-Taz)!

<29-04-2020> C1358-Taz (F), around two years old, along with 13 other cats, were rescued by Anima on 15th December 2016, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all neutered and vaccinated in IAM. C1358-Taz has been in Anima and she was found skinny and lethargic with nasal and ocular discharge two days ago. Blood test results showed very high infections and kidney problems. C1358-Taz passed away today in our Cats’ Paradise! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Adoption (2267-Blythe)!

<29-04-2020> Blythe was adopted by Ms. Figueiredo, today! SPP2146-Barbie (F), around 3 years old, mother dog of SPP2148-Banko (M), around 1.5 years old, together are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 6th August, 2019. SPP2148-Banko and SPP2146-Barbie with her new 4 puppies, 2266-Bryson (M), 2267-Blythe (F), 2268-Blair (F) and 2269-Barbara (F), all around 3 months old, were caught by IAM on 5th April 2020. Anima–April Rescue (C2326; C2327; C2328; C2329; C2330)!

<28-04-2020> C2326-Nash (M), C2327-Nell (F), C2328-Nami (F), C2329-Nita (F) and C2330-Neda (F), all around 18 days old, were rescued by Anima on the 28th April 2020, after a call from Ms. Cheng reporting that herself and colleagues found five kittens in Hac Sa Beach area. The mother cat had passed away recently with rat poison. All the kittens were consulted and now stay in our Cats’ Paradise. C2330-Neda will be fostered by Mandy for a while. Anima–April Rescue and Return (B147-Morgan)!

<27-04-2020> B147-Morgan, a wild young hawk-cuckoo, was rescued by Anima on 27th April 2020, after a call from Mr. Alahakoon informing us that a young bird, B147-Morgan, was found at R. da Patinagem and he was unable to fly. He asked us to help. Morgan was sent to a clinic where he recovered and was ready to go back to nature. B147-Morgan was released to the trail near ANIMA today! Thanks, Mr. Alahakoon! Anima–April Rescue and Return (SPP2241-Ah Mui)!

<25-04-2020> SPP2241-Ah Mui (F), around 12 years old and under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th March 2020, was rescued by Anima on 9th April 2020, after a call from Mr. O referring that SPP2241-Ah Mui had an eye problem. After diagnosis, it was suspected that SPP2241-Ah Mui had Blepharitis on the left eye and also Fungal Infection (Skin Problem) on the tail. She was sent to a Clinic for further examination as there was not improvement. Medical exams showed that Ah Mui’s right eye had swelling cornea and suspect her left eye had a cataract. SPP2241-Ah Mui was returned to Templo de A-Ma (Barra) after consultation and medication prescribed. Thanks, Mr. O! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Rescue and Sad News (SPP2228; SPP2219)!

<25-04-2020> The puppies, SPP2228-Judia and SPP2219-Julien, around five months old, were rescued by Anima on the 22nd April 2020, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that the puppy Julien had vomited what he ate, which was dog dry food plus some rice. Julien was tested for parvovirus and results showed positive. All the puppies were vaccinated before. SPP2228-Judia and SPP2219-Julien stayed on their site, under treatment and separated from other dogs. Today, SPP2219-Julien was found dead in the site. SPP2228-Judia was immediately sent to a clinic where she stays for recover. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet!
