Anima–April Rescue (SPPC2314-Giorga)!

<12-04-2020> SPPC2314-Giorga (F), around 5 months old and under our Special Protection Program (SPP) now, was rescued by Anima on 12th April 2020, through Michele who brought her to us. SPPC2314-Giorga was clinically observed and returned to Jockey Club after consultation. Thanks, Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Sad News (C1880-Degas)!

<11-04-2020> C1877-Van (M), around three years old, C1878-Gogh (M), around two years old, C1879-Monet (F), around two years old and C1880-Degas (F), around nine years old, were rescued by Anima on 12th April 2018, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. All of them were neutered, vaccinated and received microchips at IAM. Yesterday, Degas had a faint crisis and hardly could stand. She was sent to a clinic as her body was collapsing. C1880-Degas passed away today in the clinic due to severe acidemia and severe hypoglycemia. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (B144-Baby)!

<11-04-2020> B144-Baby, an adult wild pigeon, was rescued by Anima on 9th April 2020, after our staff member, Mr. Kei informing us that he found a bird unable to fly, outside ANIMA. Our Rescue team sent Baby to a Clinic and he stayed in the clinic for treatment. B144-Baby passed away today in the clinic. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Adoption (C2126-Kim Kim)!

<11-04-2020> Kim Kim was adopted today by Mr. Wong! C2126-Kim Kim (M), around four years old by the time, was rescued on the 22nd May 2019, after a call from Ms. Cham who asked us to rescue two cats living in a building car park of which one of them was pregnant. Although both cats were friendly, they were afraid of humans and Anima provided a cat trap to catch them. We could manage to rescued one of the cats, while we were on finding the pregnant cat so we can also rescue her. C2126-Kim Kim was clinically observed and has been with us since then. Anima–April Rescue (SPP2255-Lek Chai)!

<11-04-2020> SPP2255-Lek Chai (M), around seven months old and under our Special Protection Program (SPP) now, was rescued by Anima on 11th April 2020, after a call from Mr. Cheong, a fireman reporting that a puppy was shivering and unable to move with excessive fatigue in his working area of Corpo de Bombeiros de Coloane. According to Mr. Cheong, SPP2255-Lek Chai lives with his mother in the mountains behind his working area and usually they are wandering near, looking for food. Lek Chai was sent to a clinic for further examination. He has severe Demodicosis which lead to skin lesions, skin infections and hair loss (alopecia) with some diffused bleeding wounds over his body. <09-04-2020> Rex was adopted today by Ms. Wong! C2114-Raina (F) was rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2019, along with two of her kittens C2115-Reanu and C2116-Reeve. She was pregnant and gave birth to four newborns later, in Anima. C2136- Rex, C2137-Raven, C2138-Roti and C2139-Rita were born on the 16th June 2019, all healthy! Rex was adopted today by Ms. Wong! <08-04-2020> C2313-Tory (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 8th April 2020, after a call from Ms. Mok reporting that a kitten, C2313-Tory, was found scared and alone on the staircase in Edf. Anima–April Rescue (2254-Palermo)!

<08-04-2020> 2254-Palermo (M), around seven weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 8th April 2020, after our rescue team found one puppy with severe skin problem and lethargic in Tai Tam Hill Hiking Trail. There were 4 puppies there before but only this puppy was unhealthy and caught by our rescue team. 2254-Palermo was clinically observed and welcome to our Dog Shelter. Thanks, Rescue Team!
