Anima–December Sad News (SPP1015-Tara)!

<04-12-2024> SPP1015-Tara (F), around seven years old back then, has been under our SPP program since 31st March 2013. Tara was rescued on the 3rd September 2019, after we were informed that she was caught by IAM. Tara was welcomed to our Dog’s Shelter. Recently, SPP1015-Tara has been with health problems and under hospice care. Unfortunately, a mass in front of her heart started to grow and she got worst. Anima was informed by the vets that she passed away today, probably due to a tumor. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! <03-12-2024> 2534-Nova (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd December 2024, with I.A.M assistance, after a call from Ms. Zoe refering that a puppy was found on an empty land at Rua Kun Iam Tong and it has been crying all night long. 2534-Nova was welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Anima–December Rescue (2533-Leg Leg II)!

<02-12-2024> 2533-Leg Leg II (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd December 2024, after a call from Ms. Fok, reporting that an injured dog was found in bushes at Estrada do Altinho de Coloane, near Aldeia Cultural de A-Ma and the dog was unable to move. He was immediately sent to a vet clinic for consultation. X-rays showed a fracture on his lumbar vertebrae and a broken tail. Health exams revealed ascites and other small problems that need treatment. He stayed hospitalized in the clinic. 2533-Leg Leg II will be welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter as soon as he recovers! Anima-V. T. City University of Macau helped us!

<27-11-2024> Today, we were visited by 30 people, of which 15 were from a Volunteer Team of City University of Macau. This group gave us a precious help at our Dogs’ Shelter. <27-11-2024> SPP1277-Porter (M), one of our senior dogs, was diagnosed with a bone tumor. Recently, he had a mass growing fast and creating a non healing wound. Anima–November Sad News (501-Xica)!

<26-11-2024> 501-Xica (F), one of our senior dogs, has been with health problems on her adrenal gland. Recently, she was unable to stand and later with hyperthermia. 501-Xica was sent to a clinic. Blood test was done but during the process, Xica suddenly was in shock and vets needed to do an emergency treatment. Unfortunately, she got worst and passed away today. R.I.P. our friend!
