Anima – May Rescue (SPP1256-Papa)!

<20-05-2019> SPP1256-Papa (M), around nine years old, under our SPP program was rescued from his site on the 20th May 2019 after a call from the person responsible for him, Ms Chui, who reported he was limping but no wound to be seen and stopped eating as well. When our rescue team arrived, Papa was lethargic, panting and with high fever. SPP1256-Papa was sent to the clinic to check any fractures or tumours and stay there for treatment. Thanks, Ms. Chui! <19-05-2019> 1620-Ibbie was rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016 after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that Ibbie was pregnant and living in a construction site in Coloane. On 12th January 2016, she gave birth to eight puppies, 1629-Keira, 1630-Kole, 1631-Kylee, 1632-Skye, 1633-Stammi, 1634-Sorrel, 1635-Bonzel and 1636-Bliss, four males and four females. 1629-Keira was adopted on 12th January 2016 and after abandoned in the kennel. 1629-Keira, around three years old now died today in Anima due to a heart attack. <17-05-2019> C2118-Qiang (F), C2119-Quasin (M) and C2120-Quan (F), all around seven weeks old, were rescued on the 17th May 2019, after a call from Ms. Cham reporting a mother cat and her kittens were living behind his shop and he didn’t want them there. Anima-Macau Anglican School visited us!

<17-05-2019> Today, we were visited by 26 people from Macau Anglican School as volunteers in our Dogs’ Shelter! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2018, we had 8,612 visitors as compared with 9,251 in 2017! This year, up to April 2019, we had 2634 visitors, we have received 42 group visitors and we have been in four events organized by friends.
