Anima–October Sad News (416-Matias)!

<01-10-2018> 416-Matias was around sixteen years old now and had been with us for long time! 416-Matias (M), around eight years old when he was rescued by Anima on 22nd October 2010 and stayed with us since that time. 416-Matias became very weak since Septermber because he was old already. He could not stand up and was in dripping as he could not eat. The x-ray showed he had pulmonary fibrosis and heart murmur. 416-Matias’s health condition was getting worse and he started to suffer in pain. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–September Sad News (C2000-Ariana)!

<30-09-2018> The mother cat C1978-Iliana (F) was rescued by Anima on 1st September 2018, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that C1978-Iliana entered her shop in Hac Sa Wan. C1978-Iliana gave birth to four kittens on 13th September 2018. They were C2000-Ariana, C2001-Juliana, C2002-Mariana, C2003-Nirvana and C2004-Ezana. C2002-Mariana and C2001-Juliana were very weak and passed away. Unfortunately C2000-Ariana also passed away last night. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–September Sad News (2061-2064)!

<30-09-2018> 2061-Perdita (F), 2062-Pongo (M), 2063-Inky (F), 2064-Orca (F), 2065-Puffin (F) and 2066-Cruella (F), were rescued by Anima on 28th September 2018 when all were around two days old, after a call from Mr. Tang reporting that he found six puppies being abandoned near Ka Ho village last night. We collected the six puppies. However 2066-Cruella was already dead at that time. 2061-Perdita passed away yesterday. 2063-Inky, 2062-Pongo and 2064-Orca also passed away today. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–September Sad News (1682-Lawson)!

<29-09-2018> SPP1669-Loi Loi was rescued and was under our Special Protection Program since 12th March 2016. She gave birth to six puppies on 20th March 2016. They were 1677-Layla, 1678-Leanna, 1679-Lavon, 1680-Lavar, 1681-Lawton and 1682-Lawson. All of them were staying with us since that time. Today they had a fight inside their pen and 1681-Lawton was seriously injured. 1681-Lawton had wounds in his neck, front legs and severely wounds on his hind legs and tail. <29-09-2018> The mother cat C1978-Iliana (F) was rescued by Anima on 1st September 2018, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that C1978-Iliana entered her shop in Hac Sa Wan. Anima–September Sad News (B105-Victoria)!

<29-09-2018> B105-Victoria was rescued by Anima on 28th September 2018, after a call from Ms. Winnie reporting that a pigeon, B105-Victoria was not moving in Estrada de Victoria. B105-Victoria was collected and checked by us. She has an infection on the right eye and was severely sick. B105-Victoria was staying with us for treatment. Anima–September Rescue and Sad News (C2013-Night)!

<29-09-2018> C2013-Night (F), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 29th September 2018 after a call from Ms. Liu reporting that a cat C2013-Night was unable to walk in Calçada da Barra. She asked us for help. C2013-Night was sent to a clinic. The X ray showed that she had a fracture on her left acetabulum. She has mild anemia and severe inflammation. <29-09-2018> Today, 38 people visited us, two of them were Margaret and her brother that came to our Cats’ Paradise to do volunteer work! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2017, we had 9,251 visitors an increase of 23% as compared with 7,519 in 2016! 137 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us. We were in 34 events organized by friends or by us! This year, up to August 2018, Anima received 5917 visitors, 105 groups of schools, companies and associations and we have been out in 13 events!
