Anima–June Sad News (H021-Mulberry)!

<13-06-2018> H021-Mulberry (F), H018-Papaya (M), H019-Lime (M), H020-Pear (M), H022-Cherry (F) and H023-Lychee (F), were rescued by Anima on 11th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Ng reporting that six hamsters were found inside a cage in Ilha Verde garbage station. She brought them home but the family was against her. She asked us for help. All of them were staying with us since that time. Yesterday H021-Mulberry was found with diarrhea and  both eyes were unable to open. She was under medication by our staff. Unfortunately we found H021-Mulberry dead this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–June Rescue (C1908-Luie)!

<12-06-2018> C1908-Luie (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 12th June 2018 and was brought to Cats’ Paradise by Ms. Charissa. According to her, she had rescued a cat, C1908-Luie near her house  last November. She kept C1908-Luie from that time until now she is going back to Philipines and doesn't want to take her.  She asked us for help. C1908-Luie was checked by us and is staying at Cats’ Paradise for quarantine. We helped Luie! But we are not happy with such excuse from the owner! Please help us to help them! Anima-Reuters interviewed us!

<12-06-2018> Today, six people visited us, two of them were from Reuters that came to our Dog Shelter! They interviewed our Board Member, Ms. Zoe, regarding the greyhounds issue. Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2017, we had 9,251 visitors an increase of 23% as compared with 7,519 in 2016! 137 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us. We were in 34 events organized by friends or by us! This year, up to May 2018, Anima received 4039 visitors, 63 groups of schools, companies and associations and we have been out in eight events! Anima–June Sad News (C1899-Gared)!

<12-06-2018> C1899-Gared (M) and C1900-Garet (M), were rescued by Anima on 3rd June 2018 when they were around two days old, after a call from Ms. Sou reporting that two newborn kittens were found in Parque Municipal da Colina da Guia. She asked us for help. C1899-Gared and C1900-Garet were sent to a clinic immediately. They were lethargic and covered with maggots over necks, ears and the umbilical cord area. On 3rd June 2018 C1900-Garet  passed away. Unfortunately we were informed that C1899-Gared also passed away in a clinic today. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! <12-06-2018> 2030-Joaquim (M), before called Brighten Righ, is a greyhound around four years old, that was rescued by Anima on 12th June 2018 through IACM. He is already vaccinated, received microchip and registered under Anima’s name today. 2030-Joaquim is now staying at our Dog Shelter. Anima–June Sad News (C991-Fa Mao Jai)!

<11-06-2018> C991-Fa Mao Jai (F), was rescued by Anima on 30th June 2015 when she was around three years old, after a call from Ms. Gina informing that someone didn’t want to keep C991-Fa Mao Jai because she cannot handle her treatment! C991-Fa Mao Jai was collected and checked by us. She had Mega Colon since that time  making her easily have constipation. Today we found her lying on the floor and having seizure. Anima in IFT Event and Donation!

<11-06-2018> Anima was invited to the dinner event of “School Memories of 90’s” held by the Institute For Tourism Studies (IFT) on 11th June 2018 at the school restaurant. Our Board Member, Ms. Zoe, has represented us  attending the event! Around 80 people were  there! All income after deduction of costs of the dinner event will be donated to Anima. <11-06-2018> C1904-Audi (M), around two years old, C1905-Alcott (M), around one year old, C1906-Alvina (F), around two years old and C1907-Alfreda (F), around two years old, were rescued by Anima on 11th June 2018, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. Anima–June Adoption (C1850-Clancy)!

<10-06-2018> Clancy was adopted by Mr. Chan on 10th June 2018! C1850-Clancy (F), was rescued by Anima on 15th February 2018 when she was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Lou reporting that a cat got injured and was hiding on the roof of his building in Rua do Patane. He asked us for help. C1850-Clancy was collected and sent to a clinic. She had a deep wound on her neck and need to apply surgery to stitch the wound. C1850-Clancy has recovered and was now adopted.
