Anima–May Rescue (C1897-Voltie)!

<30-05-2018> C1897-Voltie (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 30th May 2018, with the help of Ms. Lei and her friends at Rua da Felicidade at night time. They saw C1897-Voltie fell down from a building and got injured. They sent him to a clinic and asked us for help. C1897-Voltie has no fracture but his hind leg muscle got strained. He bit his tongue when he fell down from the building. C1897-Voltie is under dripping and observation. We will collect him after recovery. Thanks Ms. Lei and friends! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Rescue (SPP1485-Hac Mui)!

<30-05-2018> SPP1485-Hac Mui (F),  under our Special Protection Program since 27th June 2015 when she was around eight years old,  was rescued again by Anima on 26th May 2018, after a call from the staffs of a friendly association asking us to help SPP1485-Hac Mui as they found a lump hanging from her stomach. SPP1485-Hac Mui was sent to a clinic for examination. According to the vet, SPP1485-Hac Mui was suspected having Mammary Gland Tumor. Today we pick her up and prepared her for a surgery at a clinic. Anima–May Sad News (C1496-Sue)!

<29-05-2018> C1496-Sue (F), was rescued by Anima on 15th April 2017 when she was around two years old, after a call from Ms. Hoi reporting that a cat, C1496-Sue was found with a tumor. She was sent to a clinic for a surgery to remove the tumor from her paw. C1496-Sue has staying with us since that time. On 11th April 2018 she was diagnosed with renal problem. On 24th May 2018 her condition went down. C1496-Sue was under dripping and needed force feeding. She was very weak with no movement. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-Yuet Wah College visited us!

<27-05-2018> Today, 48 people visited us, four of them were from Yuet Wah College that came to our Cats’ Paradise! They donated to us MOP 6,522.5 from their “WeWa Event” held on 29th April 2018 at the college! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2017, we had 9,251 visitors an increase of 23% as compared with 7,519 in 2016! 137 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us. Anima–May Adoption (C1873-Sharon)!

<27-05-2018> Sharon was adopted by Ms. Chum on 27th May 2018! C1873-Sharon (F), was rescued by Anima on 29th March 2018 when she was around six months old, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that he rescued a cat from a ditch at Tou Tei Temple of Largo do Pagode do Patane. He asked us for help. C1873-Sharon was very weak, dehydrated, full of fleas on her body and had an eye infection at that time. She has recovered and was now adopted. Thanks Ms. Chum!
