Anima–May Rescue and Sad News (C1888-Maanvi)!

<09-05-2018> C1888-Maanvi (F), around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 9th May 2018, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that a cat, C1888-Maanvi entered her patio. C1888-Maanvi had seizure and she asked us for help. She was found with  low temperature, lethargic and having seizure constantly. C1888-Maanvi was sent to a clinic immediately. According to the vet, C1888-Maanvi was suspected having an impact on lungs that caused some damages on brain or nerve system. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! Thanks Ms. Cheong!  R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! <07-05-2018> Today, 45 people visited us, three of them were from Jump Magazine that came to our Cats’ Paradise! They interviewed us and two adopters of our cats! Thanks for your strong support! Anima–Dog under SPP returned in May (SPP740-Lucky)!

<07-05-2018> SPP740-Lucky (M), was under our Special Protection Program since 2013 and was rescued by Anima on 6th April 2018, after a call from Mr. Seng and Mrs. Hoi informing that SPP740-Lucky’s rump was found swollen. SPP740-Lucky was sent to a clinic for consultation. He had abscesses due to wound infection. A temporary tube was put into his wound to drain out pus, blood and fluid from the abscess. SPP740-Lucky had stayed at the clinic for treatment since that time. Today he has recovered and returned to his former place. Mrs. Hoi will help us pay for his expenses. Thanks Mrs. Hoi! Anima–May Return to Nature (B096-Paco)!

<06-05-2018> B096-Paco was rescued by Anima on 28th April 2018, after a call from Mr. Yong reporting that a bird, B096-Paco flew and landed into a shop, and was unable to fly away again. He asked us for help. B096-Paco was sent to a clinic. B096-Paco needed force feeding as it was still young. Today B096-Paco was released in the trail near our shelter. Fly free my friend! Anima–May Sad News (C1885-Maria)!

<04-05-2018> C1885-Maria (F), was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2018 when she was around one year old, after a call from Mr. Ng reporting that a cat was found near the Municipal Market at Toi San. C1885-Maria was collected and stayed at Cats’ Paradise. On 30th April 2018, she was found vomiting yellowish liquid, lethargic and refused to eat. C1885-Maria was sent for a second vet opinion. The report showed that she has feline distemper and renal problem. She was staying at the clinic for treatment and observation. Unfortunately, we were informed by the clinic that C1885-Maria had passed away night time. She vomited blood and had bloody stool. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them!
