Anima–April Sad News (C1864-Tomo)!

<16-04-2018> C1864-Tomo (M), was rescued by Anima on 18th March 2018 when he was around five years old, after a call from Ms. Ieong reporting that a cat C1864-Tomo was found on the approach span of Amizade Bridge. She collected the cat and brought to Cats’ Paradise. C1864-Tomo had two wounds on both left and right hind legs, some minor cuts under the right eye and on the right front leg at that time. His condition was not good as we found infections from the opening wounds. On 11th April 2018, C1864-Tomo was found apathetic and with hypothermia. He was sent to a clinic and the result showed he had renal problems and low glucose. According to the vet, C1864-Tomo could not prolong his life as his organs were starting to shut down and he was suffering in pain. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our...

Anima-April Foster Return (C1100, C1626)!

<16-04-2018> Tut Tut and Lemon will temporarily return to Anima for eleven days until 26th April 2018! C1100-Tut Tut and C1626-Lemon have been fostering by Ms. Wong since 4th September 2017 after the damage of typhoon at our Cats’ Paradise. They are temporarily returned from fostering as the family is going on vacation. Ms. Wong will continue to foster them when she comes back! Thanks Ms. Wong! Be our volunteer! Be our foster family! Anima–April Sad News (C1866-Nemo)!

<15-04-2018> C1866-Nemo (M), was rescued by Anima on 21st March 2018 when he was around three months old, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a kitten C1866-Nemo fell down from a building near Café Amagao at Rua Ho Lin Vong. Some blood came out from C1866-Nemo’s anus, nose and mouth at that time. C1866-Nemo was sent to a clinic immediately. After the medication, he stayed at Cats’ Paradise for treatment and quarantine. C1866-Nemo was found breathing hard yesterday. His temperature was low, his gums were pale and he vomited some reddish fluid. Unfortunately, C1866-Nemo passed away on the way to the clinic. <15-04-2018> Amicus was adopted by Ms. Lam on 15th April 2018! The mother cat C1732-Africa (F), around two years old at that time, together with her five kittens, C1733-Asia (F), C1734-Alta (F), C1735-Amata (F), C1736-Amicus (M) and C1737-Antal (M), were rescued by Anima on 24th October 2017 when all were around three months old. <15-04-2018> Zavier was adopted by Ms. Raquel on 15th April 2018! The mother, 1972-Zanna (F), around two years old at that time, with the puppies, 1973-Zandra (F), 1974-Zalla (F), 1975-Zavia (F), 1976-Zena (F), 1977-Zavier (M), 1978-Zeno (M) and 1979-Zeki (M), were rescued by Anima on 15th January 2018 when all were around two days old, after a call from Ms. Kuok reporting that a mother dog gave birth to seven puppies. Anima–April Adoption (1964-Buddy)!

<15-04-2018> Buddy was adopted by Ms. Rita on 15th April 2018! 1964-Buddy (M), was rescued by Anima on 1st January 2018 when he was around one year old, after a call from our rescue team reporting that they found a dog tied up in a site during their daily feeding. According to the worker in the site, 1964-Buddy was abandoned by his owner in the site. Anima-Sheung Kung Hui Youth Service visited us!

<14-04-2018> Today, 81 people visited us, 14 of them were from Sheung Kung Hui “We-Connect” Hidden Internet Addiction Youth Service Pilot Program that came to our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2017, we had 9,251 visitors an increase of 23% as compared with 7,519 in 2016! 137 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us. We were in 34 events organized by friends or by us! This year, up to March 2018, Anima received 2261 visitors, 25 groups of schools, companies and associations and we have been out in three events! Anima–April Sad News (SPPC1195-Dessa)!

<14-04-2018> SPPC1195-Dessa (F),  under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima through Michele on 18th May 2016 when she was around two years old, after a call from her reporting that Dessa needed to be de-sexed. SPPC1195-Dessa had returned to her place after de-sex surgery. On 10th March 2018 she was checked by our staff and was diagnosed liver problem. She was found getting skinny and anemic. Anima–April Adoption (C1623-Barnabas)!

<14-04-2018> Barnabas was adopted by Mr. Manuel on 14th April 2018! C1623-Barnabas (M) and C1622-Berenice (F), were rescued by Anima on 1st July 2017 when they were around five months old, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that two cats were kept in a cage for half an year in a restaurant of Macau.
