Anima–April Rescue (C2797, C2798)!

<04-04-2023> C2797-Elliot (M) and C2798-Siu Fu (F), both around two years old, were rescued by Anima on 4th April 2023, after a call from IAM referring their lack of space. Both, C2797-Elliot and C2798-Siu Fu were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise, today. Anima and IAM cooperate in order to save as many animals as possible. Thanks, IAM! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Adoption (C2762, C2767)!

<31-03-2023> Aira and Almond were adopted by Mrs. Sabita, today! The mother cat, C2762-Aira (F), around two years old, along with her three kittens, C2763-Alva, C2764-Adin and C2765-Azul (F), around three months old, were rescued on 12th November 2022 as their ex-owner was too old and couldn't take care of them properly anymore. Fortunately, Aira and Almond found the love of a new family, today! Thanks, Mrs. Sabita, for choosing to adopt instead of buying! Please help us to help them! Anima–March Rescue and Adoption (C2778, C2779)!

<24-03-2023> BoBo and Lou Fu were adopted today, by Ms. Tong! C2778-BoBo (F), around six years old, and C2779-Lou Fu Chai (M), around four years old, were rescued by Anima on 16th January 2023, after a message on Facebook from Ms. Dong referring that a lady could not take care of her seven cats anymore due to a kidney disease. BoBo and Lou Fu Chai were caught first and they were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Fortunately, both found the love of a new family, today! Thanks, Ms. Tong for choosing to adopt instead of buying! Anima–March Sad News (C2689-Yolando)!

<22-03-2023> C2689-Yolando (M), around five years old back then, was rescued by Anima on 20th January 2022, after a message from Ms. Cheong referring that she saw an injured cat near the Buddhist Temple at Escada do Papel. Our Rescue team went to the site but couldn’t find the cat. Later, we were informed by another lady, Ms. Ng, that the injured cat, C2690-Yolando showed up in that area again. He was caught by a volunteer, Ms. Wong, and he was sent to a vet clinic for consultation. After being hospitalized, C2689-Yolando was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, Yolando was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, he was FIV positive and diagnosed with kidney problems. Besides all medical efforts, C2690-Yolando passed away today. Anima–March Sad News (C2232-Holly)!

<16-03-2023> C2232-Holly (F), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th November 2019, when she was brought to our Cats’ Paradise by Ms. Chan, claiming that she has been feeding her but found people putting rat poison where Holly lived and it could be dangerous for her. C2232-Holly was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, Holly was sent to a clinic, as our staff reported that her spirit and appetite was not good. Blood test results showed severe anemia, mild inflammation and jaundice. Her liver also was swollen. Suspected the anemia was caused by an autoimmune problem. Steroids were prescribed and Holly had to be hospitalized. According to a vet, euthanize was suggested previously to end her unhealthy condition of life and suffering. Holly passed away today. Anima–March Rescue and Returned (2495-Moppy)!

<13-03-2023> The dog Yorkshire Terrier, 2495-Moppy (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th March 2023, after a tourist rang the bell of our Cats’ Paradise, saying that he found a dog with a harness in the middle of the road on Av. De Cinco de Outubro. He asked us help after waiting a long time to check if there was an owner nearby. Moppy was sent to a pet shop for grooming and stayed there overnight. The owner contacted us on the next morning, referring what happened. Moppy was returned back to his family! Thanks, to the tourist and all people willing to help Moppy! Please help us to help them!
