“Easter Kids Carnivals” and Adoption day!

<01-04-2018> Anima was invited to participate in the “Easter Kids Carnivals” event held by the Grand Coloane Resort on 1st April 2018! We set up our Adoption Day booth and around 80 people visited us! We brought out four dogs and six volunteers helped us in the event. They were Diana, Alex, Jillian, Amy, Cat and Andrew. Anima–April Rescue (SPP2015-Beanie)!

<01-04-2018> SPP2015-Beanie (F), around seven years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 1st April 2018, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a dog SPP2015-Beanie was hit by a car and was unable to move. He asked us for help. SPP2015-Beanie was sent to a clinic immediately. The report showed that her spleen was swollen. She had internal bleeding and was severe anemic. SPP2015-Beanie has to stay in the clinic for dripping and close observation. Thanks Mr. Chan! Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us for adoption! Anima–March Sad News (C1811-Dumpling)!

<30-03-2018> C1811-Dumpling (M), was rescued by Anima on 23th December 2017 when he was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Oscar of Anihelp, informing that they rescued a sick cat in Travessa da Palangana. C1811-Dumpling had stayed with us since that time. Recently we found C1811-Dumpling has a mouth ulcer and his face was swollen. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. The report showed that he had severe renal problems which causes the mouth ulcer. According to the vet, surgery could only be applied when he turned back to the normal temperature. However, his body temperature was very low and he could not stand on his own. He was in suffer! After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Anima–March Rescue (SPP2014-Boss)!

<30-03-2018> SPP2014-Boss (M), around six years old, is now under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 30th March 2018, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that she found that SPP2014-Boss was paralyzed on the site. Ms. Lam is responsible for him at that area. She asked us for help. SPP2014-Boss was sent to a clinic immediately. According to the vet, he suspected that SPP2014-Boss was diagnosed Canine Distemper before, and the virus made him paralyzed. Anima–Rescue and Sad News (C1874-Adas)!

<30-03-2018> C1874-Adas (M), around two days old, was rescued by Anima on 30th March 2018, after a call from Mr. Lao reporting that there was a newborn kitten meowing alone under his balcony at Hang Fa Garden. He asked us for help. C1874-Adas was collected by us and temporarily fostered by our staff Ms. Peng for milk feeding. After giving him some milk, some blood came out from his mouth. Anima–March SPP Return (SPP1999-Bea)!

<29-03-2018> The mother dog, SPP1999-Bea (F), around three years old at that time, with the six puppies, SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F), SPP2004-Bettina (F) and SPP2005-Borbala (F), all around 1.5 months old at that time , were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 24th February 2018 after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that the mother dog SPP1999-Bea gave birth to six puppies. Mr. Wong was responsible for them in that area. SPP1999-Bea was sent to a clinic for desex on 26th March 2018. After the surgery, she has returned to her former place. Please help us to help them! <29-03-2018> C1873-Sharon (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th March 2018, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that he rescued a cat from a ditch at Tou Tei Temple of Largo do Pagode do Patane. He asked us for help. C1873-Sharon was sent to a clinic immediately. She was very weak, dehydrated, full of fleas on her body and had an eye infection. <29-03-2018> C1716-Laf, C1253-Hambly and C1602-Flyer are now accommodated in Anima for seven days until 4th April 2018 as the family is going on vacation. C1716-Laf (M), was rescued by Anima on 24th September 2017, when he was around three months old, after a call from Ms. Manuela reporting that a kitten was found near Coloane Prison with scratch injury on the hind leg. C1602-Flyer (M), was rescued by Anima on 18th June 2017 when he was around three years old, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that she couldn’t keep her cat anymore. C1253-Hambly (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th August 2016, when he was around two years old, after a call from Ms. Hang reporting that a cat entered in her building.
