Anima- April Return to Family (1534-Sibala)!

<04-04-2018> 1534-Sibala was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for seven days since 29th March 2018. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! Be our member! Be part of our team! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–April Rescue (C1875-Moon)!

<03-04-2018> C1875-Moon (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd April 2018, after a call from Corpo de Policia de Segurança Pública (Police force) reporting that a kitten C1875-Moon was found on street with severe injury. C1875-Moon was sent to a clinic immediately. The X-ray report showed that her left hind leg was fractured. Her leg was severe injured and need to be amputated. C1875-Moon has internal bleeding as the bladder was ruptured. She has to stay at the clinic for close observation. Thanks Corpo de Policia de Segurança Pública! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Sad News (C1802-Levis)!

<02-04-2018> C1802-Levis (M), was rescued by Anima on 11th December 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. C1802-Levis had stayed with us since that time. Recently he was found walking unsteadily and was not active. The blood test showed he had renal  and neurological problems. He had been under force feeding. C1802-Levis had multiple seizures and  was in low temperatures entering in suffer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-April Temporary Accommodation (1979-Zeki)!

<02-04-2018> Zeki will be temporarily accommodated at Anima for treatment! 1979-Zeki (M), was rescued by Anima on 15th January 2018 when he was around two days old, after a call from Ms. Kuok reporting that a mother dog gave birth to seven puppies. Zeki was adopted by Mr. Tai on 27th March 2018! He was found having skin problems and this was informed by the adopter after few days he  was adopted. Now he is returning back to our shelter for treatment. Mr. Tai will get him back when he is recovered. Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet! <02-04-2018> SPP2015-Beanie (F),  under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 1st April 2018 when she was around seven years old, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a dog SPP2015-Beanie was hit by a car and was unable to move. He asked us for help. SPP2015-Beanie was sent to a clinic immediately. The report showed that her spleen was swollen. She had internal bleeding and was severe anemic. SPP2015-Beanie stayed in the clinic for dripping and close observation. Unfortunately we were informed by the clinic that SPP2015-Beanie passed away this morning due to internal bleeding. “Easter Kids Carnivals” and Adoption day!

<01-04-2018> Anima was invited to participate in the “Easter Kids Carnivals” event held by the Grand Coloane Resort on 1st April 2018! We set up our Adoption Day booth and around 80 people visited us! We brought out four dogs and six volunteers helped us in the event. They were Diana, Alex, Jillian, Amy, Cat and Andrew. Anima–March Sad News (C1811-Dumpling)!

<30-03-2018> C1811-Dumpling (M), was rescued by Anima on 23th December 2017 when he was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Oscar of Anihelp, informing that they rescued a sick cat in Travessa da Palangana. C1811-Dumpling had stayed with us since that time. Recently we found C1811-Dumpling has a mouth ulcer and his face was swollen. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. The report showed that he had severe renal problems which causes the mouth ulcer. According to the vet, surgery could only be applied when he turned back to the normal temperature. However, his body temperature was very low and he could not stand on his own. He was in suffer! After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
