Anima–February Rescue (C2787-Fishball)!

<09-02-2023> The kitten, C2787-Fishball (M), around two days old, was rescued by Anima on 9th February 2023, after a call from Mr. Lei, who brought a new born kitten to our Cats’ Paradise. Mr. Lei claimed that he listened meowing loud next to a dumpster on Rua do Meio, in Coloane. Our Rescue team went to check, including an abandoned site nearby, but it was not found any other kitten or mother cat. C2787-Fishball was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise and will be fostered by our staff, as he needs milk feeding and specific newborn care. Thanks, Mr. Lei! Please help us to help them! Anima–February Sad News (C2178-Safiya)!

<06-02-2023> C2178-Safiya (F), C2179-Kafi (M), C2180-Scipio (M), all around one year and seven months old back then, were rescued by Anima on 13th August 2019, from IAM due to lack of space. They have been living in our Cats’ Paradise. C2178-Safiya had nasal discharge with blood stain and was consulted at a clinic. Exam results showed positive for FCV and FHV. Also, a strange body was found inside her nasal cavity, which needed surgery. Besides all medical efforts in the clinic and Anima’s support later, C2178-Safiya passed away, today. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–January Sad News (C1339-Kanzi)!

<25-01-2023> C1339-Kanzi (F), one of our adult cats, has been living in our Cats’ Paradise since her rescue. Recently, C1339-Kanzi was found weak and getting skinny. She was sent to a clinic for consultation and health exams. According to the vet, not only there was a liver problem but also could might be FIP. Anima–January Rescue (C2783-Morton)!

<23-01-2023> C2783-Morton (M), an adult cat, was rescued by Anima on 23rd January 2023, after a call from Ms. Cheang, reporting that a volunteer found a cat that may have eaten something poisonous at Macau Earth Temple. The cat had neurological symptoms that unable him to walk. She asked us to help. C2783-Morton (M) was sent to a clinic immediately. Blood test was done, and results revealed that he has severe anemia and high liver values. Also, a blood transfusion would be needed. C2783-Morton will be hospitalized in the clinic under continuous and specific medical care. Thanks, Ms. Cheang! Please help us to help them!
