Anima–December Adoption (C1636-Regina)!

<31-12-2017> Regina was adopted by Mr. Leung on 31st December 2017! C1636-Regina (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Kong reporting that her friend found and took a cat home two weeks ago near Macau Kennel and tried to find someone to adopt her but failed. C1636-Regina was adopted once but returned after few days. C1636-Regina was checked and dewormed. She has stayed with us and was now adopted. Thanks Mr. Leung! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima-Our Lady of Fatima Girl’s school visited us!

<30-12-2017> Today, 30 people visited us, seven of them were from Our Lady of Fatima Girl's school that came to our Cat’s Paradise as volunteers! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to November 2017, Anima received 8,497 visitors, an increase of 32.6% as compared with the same period of last year. 127 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 35.1%, and we have been in 30 events organized by friends or by us! Anima–December Rescue (C1815-Lenna)!

<30-12-2017> C1815-Lenna (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 30th December 2017, after a call from Mr. Cheng reporting that a kitten was found dying in his building of Edificio San Mei On. C1815-Lenna is very weak with head tilt, drooling, and both eyes have an infection. She was sent to a clinic immediately. She needs to stay in the clinic overnight for observation. Thanks Mr. Cheng! Anima–December Sad News (C1813-Boxing)!

<29-12-2017> C1813-Boxing (M), around one week old, was rescued by Anima on 26th December 2017, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a kitten was found in Rua Dois do Bairro Va Tai. C1813-Boxing was alone in the street with no mother beside. He was sent to a clinic as he was urinating blood. He stayed in the clinic for observation. According to the clinic, C1813-Boxing had urinary tract infection and slightly dehydration. On 27th December, we were informed by the clinic that C1813-Boxing was having bloody diarrhea and low body temperature. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–December Sad News (C1665-Daylon)!

<27-12-2017> C1662-DiDi (F), around 2 years old, C1663-Dana (F), C1664-Dacia (F), both around one year old, C1665-Daylon (M), around 4 years old, C1666-Darins (M), around one year old, C1667-Denni (M), around 2 years old, were rescued by Anima on 24th July 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all neutered and vaccinated by IACM. C1665-Daylon was found apathetic and not eating one week ago. He had pancreatitis, FIP, jaundice and liver problem. Anima-December Return to Family (1915-Prince)!

<27-12-2017> 1915-Prince has finished his accommodation at Anima for 14 days and returns home now! 1915-Prince (M) and 1916-Princess (F), both around one month old at that time, were rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that two puppies were found abandoned outside the main entrance of our dog shelter. 1915-Prince was adopted by Mr. Filipe on 13th November 2017! This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! <26-12-2017> C1559-Cutie (F), was rescued by Anima on 28th May 2017 when she was three years old, after a call from Ms. Bing informing that she had 16 cats but she was not able to keep them anymore as she was sick and need to have a surgery! C1559-Cutie was checked and de-wormed. She was adopted on 21st November 2017. However, we were informed by the adopter that C1559-Cutie has been meowing too much at night and scratching the furniture. As so, C1559-Cutie stays with us again. Never Abandon your pet!
