Anima–December Sad News (C1123-Cintia)!

<09-12-2017> C1123-Cintia, on the time around three years old, was rescued by Anima after a call from Ms. Vanessa reporting that a female cat was found shaking, with a big belly and skin problem on the street somewhere in Macau. Our rescue team went to the site and found the female cat and two other kittens in a car park nearby. According to an employee of the car park, the cats had been living inside the car park together since a week ago. He asked us to collect the cats. We set a cat trap and one of the kittens, C1122-Crackie was rescued to Anima on 15th February 2016. C1123-Cintia was rescued by Anima on 16th February 2016. C1123-Cintia had a blood test on 30th November 2017, result showed that she had infections. Unfortunately she passed away last night, and the cause of death could be liver problem. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–December Sad News (H011-Violet)!

<09-12-2017> H010-Flower, an hamster, H011-Violet, H012-Poppy, both Gerbils, were rescued by Anima on 21st July 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina referring that two students Diaby and Noson, from Escola Kao Yip, had rescued those animals as the school was moving to a new location and decided not to keep them anymore. They asked us for help. We collected them and they had been with us since that time. Unfortunately H011-Violet was found passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima in IACM Animal Protection Law Promotion Day!

<03-12-2017> Anima had participated in the Animal Protection Law Promotion Day organized by IACM at Tap Seac Square on last Sunday afternoon! Our Vice President Mr. Guy represented us to attend the event. Also we set up an adoption counter and brought two of our dogs there! Around 15 people were with us! Anima–December Adoption (SPPC1614-Ada)!

<08-12-2017> Ada was adopted by Mr. Chai on 8th December 2017! SPPC1613-Abela (F) and SPPC1614-Ada (F), on the time both around three months old, were under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 26th June 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. Anima–December Sad News (C1645-Kailan)!

<07-12-2017> C1645-Kailan (M), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 19th July 2017, after a call from our Board Member Mr. Francisco Leandro, reporting that the situation of around ten cats in a hotel in Macau was very bad. The hotel’s staff helped us to catch the cats. We had provided a trap. C1645-Kailan was caught and moved to our Cat’s Paradise after a desex surgery. C1645-Kailan was diagnosed with liver problem on 19th November in a clinic. He had been under treatment since that. Today his situation got worse and he passed away during the consultation. <07-12-2017> SPP1406-Money (F),  under our Special Protection Program since 7th February 2015, when she was around 4.5 years old, lives in a friendly association, somewhere in Coloane. Today we are informed that SPP1406-Money was sick. Blood test shows that SPP1406-Money has parasitic infections and she might also have kidney problem. <07-12-2017> C1796-Bronte (F), C1797-Austin (F), C1798-Dickinson (M) and C1799-Woolf (M), were rescued by Anima on 7th December 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. Anima–December Rescue (1942-1948)!

<07-12-2017> Seven puppies, 1942-Ditte (F), 1943-Diza (F), 1944-Durian (F), 1945-Daylen (M), 1946-Dickson (M), 1947-Domingo (M) and 1948-Dominic (M), all are around 2.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 2nd December 2017 in the morning outside our shelter. They were in cage and abandoned. As our shelter was completely full, we could only send them to IACM for a while. Today all of them were collected back from IACM and are now staying with us. Anima-December Rescue (C1795-Latrell)!

<06-12-2017> C1795-Latrell (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 6th December 2017, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that someone abandoned a cat in her building in Patio da Quina. C1795-Latrell was tied to the staircase.  C1795-Latrell continued to stay in staircase of the building even after the mother of Ms. Wong free the cat.. The environment was dangerous for the cat as there was a big hole between the fences that Latrell may fall down of the building. C1795-Latrell was caught by us and checked by our vet. Anima-December Return to Family (1827-Eris)!

<04-12-2017> 1827-Eris was returned to the family after being accommodated in Anima for 11 days, since 23rd November 2017. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days!
