Anima–December Rescue (SPP1406-Money)!

<07-12-2017> SPP1406-Money (F),  under our Special Protection Program since 7th February 2015, when she was around 4.5 years old, lives in a friendly association, somewhere in Coloane. Today we are informed that SPP1406-Money was sick. Blood test shows that SPP1406-Money has parasitic infections and she might also have kidney problem. She will be sent to a clinic for an x-ray and further examination. She is staying with us for treatment now. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–December Rescue (C1796-C1799)!

<07-12-2017> C1796-Bronte (F), C1797-Austin (F), C1798-Dickinson (M) and C1799-Woolf (M), were rescued by Anima on 7th December 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all desexed by IACM. All of them stay at Cats Paradise. Anima and IACM are cooperating in order to save as many animals as possible! Thanks IACM! Please help us to help them! Anima–December Rescue (1942-1948)!

<07-12-2017> Seven puppies, 1942-Ditte (F), 1943-Diza (F), 1944-Durian (F), 1945-Daylen (M), 1946-Dickson (M), 1947-Domingo (M) and 1948-Dominic (M), all are around 2.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 2nd December 2017 in the morning outside our shelter. They were in cage and abandoned. As our shelter was completely full, we could only send them to IACM for a while. Today all of them were collected back from IACM and are now staying with us. Anima-December Rescue (C1795-Latrell)!

<06-12-2017> C1795-Latrell (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 6th December 2017, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that someone abandoned a cat in her building in Patio da Quina. C1795-Latrell was tied to the staircase.  C1795-Latrell continued to stay in staircase of the building even after the mother of Ms. Wong free the cat.. The environment was dangerous for the cat as there was a big hole between the fences that Latrell may fall down of the building. C1795-Latrell was caught by us and checked by our vet. Anima-December Return to Family (1827-Eris)!

<04-12-2017> 1827-Eris was returned to the family after being accommodated in Anima for 11 days, since 23rd November 2017. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! Anima-December Rescue (1949-Santiago)!

<04-12-2017> 1949-Santiago (M), around eight months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2017 from IACM. 1949-Santiago was caught by IACM on 21st November 2017 and he has stayed in Macau Kennel for 14 days since then. We are trying to help the dogs from the Macau Kennel as much as possible. 1949-Santiago was vaccinated and may be adopted by our board member Ms. Julia Brockman. Anima-Students of Pui Ching Middle School helped us!

<03-12-2017> Today, 37 people visited us, five of them were from Pui Ching Middle School that came to our Cat's Paradise to do volunteer work! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life!ˇ More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to November 2017, Anima received 8,497 visitors, an increase of 32.6% as compared with the same period of last year. 127 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 35.1%, and we have been in 30 events organized by friends or by us! Anima-December Sad News (C1745-Danica)!

<03-12-2017> C1744-Dann (M) , C1745-Danica (F) and C1746-Davis (M), were rescued by Anima on 1st November 2017 when all around four months old, after a call from Mr. Ng saying that he used to feed a mother cat in the site of Toi Shan Market. The mother cat gave birth to seven kittens some months ago. He asked us for help. Our rescue team set up two traps there and caught them. They were checked by out vet and stayed with us. On 1st December,  C1745-Danica and her sibling C1742-Daphne were sent to a clinic as it was suspected they have cat flu. C1745-Danica was found in low temperature, anemia and low glucose in blood. Unfortunately C1745-Danica passed away during treatment in the clinic. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-December Adoption (C1673-Hector)!

<03-12-2017> Hector was adopted by Ms. Choy on 3rd December 2017! C1672-Hayden (M), C1673-Hector (M) and C1674-Heath (M), were rescued by Anima on 25th July 2017 when they were around one month old, after a call from Ms. Kan reporting that four kittens were trapped in the trail of Small Taipa. Ms. Kan contacted the fire department to help. On 22nd July 2017 they were caught and delivered to Anima. C1673-Hector had stayed with us and now was adopted. Thanks Ms. Choy!
