Anima-We need volunteers this Saturday!

<16-11-2017> We need volunteers to help us! Dear friends, We need volunteers to help at our Cats' Paradise this Saturday (18 November 2017) afternoon from 3pm to 6pm! If you are available, please go to our Cats' Paradise directly during that time. Anima Shelter is completely FULL! We need to re-organize our space to help more animals in need! At this moment our Dog Shelter is full and has no space for extra dogs. We can only re-arrange and re-organize some space at our Cats' Paradise in order to move some dogs there. Everyday we are rescuing animals, however, we always face the difficulty of space. Now we are finding solution to facilitate our work to help more animals! Please help us to remove extra stuffs in our warehouse, help us to clean the place, help us to re-arrange the room and settings. We need people to help us! Anima-November Rescue (C1761-Ionna)!

<14-11-2017> C1761-Ionna (F), around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 14th November 2017, after a call from Mr. Cheong reporting that he found a kitten with severe eyes infection and  weak in Areia Preta. C1761-Ionna was checked by our vet. She has slight fever, swollen eyes and nasal discharge. She is under medication and staying in our Cat's Paradise now. Thanks Mr. Cheong! Anima-November Adoption (1915-Prince)!

<13-11-2017> Prince was adopted by Mr. Filipe on 13th November 2017! 1915-Prince (M) and 1916-Princess (F), both around one month old at that time, were rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that two puppies were found abandoned outside the main entrance of our dog shelter. Anima-November Return to Family (C1209, C1238)!

<13-11-2017> C1209-Sirus and C1238-Venice were returned to the family after accommodation in Anima for five days. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450 patacas, enough to pay one annual membership fees in the first case and nine months of membership fees in case of a...

Anima-Rescue and Accommodation (C1760-Bichinha)!

<13-11-2017> C1760-Bichinha (F), around two years old, was rescued and temporary accommodated at Anima on 13th November 2017. C1760-Bichinha was caught by IACM and then was adopted by Mr. Issac and Ms. Paula at Macau Kennel. They brought C1760-Bichinha to our Cat's Paradise reporting that Bichinha refused to eat for three days and also fainted for around half an hour. They asked us for help. C1760-Bichinha will temporarily stay at Cats' Paradise until she becomes better. Thanks Mr. Issac and Ms. Paula! Please help us to help them! Anima-November Adoption (SPPC1648-Sabina)!

<11-11-2017> Sabina was adopted by Ms. Lam on 11th November 2017! SPPC1646-Jack (M), SPPC1647-Nadia (F) and SPPC1648-Sabina (F), on the time all around one month old, were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 19th July 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that three kittens needed body check. SPPC1646-Jack, SPPC1647-Nadia and SPPC1648-Sabina were brought to Anima several times for consultation. Today SPPC1648-Sabina was adopted. Thanks Ms. Lam! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima-November Rescue (1937-Halle)!

<11-11-2017> 1927-Halle (F), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 11th November 2017, after a call from Ms. Lok reporting that she saw a dog, 1927-Halle, tied to a poll in a street in Coloane. 1927-Halle has a big lump on her abdomen with thin legs. She had microchip. As so, we will deliver her to IACM for the owner to be punished and ask IACM to help her. Meanwhile, 1927-Halle was sent to a clinic and stayed  under observation. Thanks Ms. Lok! Pets are for life!ˇ More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to October 2017, Anima received 7,650 visitors, an increase of 32.1% as compared with the same period of last year. 117 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 41%, and we have been in 29 events organized by friends or by us!
