Anima-October Sad News (C1586-Issac)!

<15-10-2017> C1588-Isaac (M), around one week old at that time, was rescued by Anima on the 9th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Fok reporting that Isaac was found in Rua de São Tiago da Barra. Our assistant Ms. Peng has been fostering C1588-Issac since that time. On 10th October 2017 he was found with bloated belly and less active. He was sent to a clinic and the report showed he has FIP. Unfortunately Isaac passed away in Ms. Peng's house this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! October New Dogs Under SPP (SPP1927-SPP1936)!

<14-10-2017> On 14th October 2017 after a call from Ms. Peng, the mother dog SPP1927-Cambria (F), around one year old and her seven puppies, SPP1928-Cadmus (M), SPP1929-Cadoc (M), SPP1930-Cadogan (M), SPP1931-Cade (M), SPP1932-Camelia (F), SPP1933-Camryn (F) and SPP1934-Carita (F), all  around three months old are now  under our Special Protection Program (SPP) together with another two dogs,  SPP1935-Keelan (F) and SPP1936-Keanna (F), both around six months old.  She is responsible for them in that area in Coloane. Anima-October Adoption (C1612, C1633)!

<14-10-2017> Jenni and Water were adopted by Ms. Lai on 14th October 2017! C1612-Jenni (F), around three months old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 25th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Sou reporting that a kitten was found in Estrada Marginal do Hipodromo and she was very weak. C1612-Jenni was checked by our vet and dewormed. She had urinary tract infections. C1633-Water (M), around one month old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a kitten has been crying for few days in a private empty slot of Travessa do Cais No. 23. He was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had eyes infection. Both of them have stayed with us and were now adopted. Thanks Ms. Lai! Please Adopt and never Buy! <14-10-2017> Victoria was adopted by Ms. Ivone on 14th October 2017! C1608-Victoria (F), around 2.5 months old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 22nd June 2017, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a kitten was found outside her shop at Rua Três do Bairro da Areia Preta. Anima-Macao Anglican College visited us!

<14-10-2017> Today, 51 people visited us, three of them were from Anglican College that came to our Cat's Paradise to do volunteer work! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to September 2017, Anima received 6,923 visitors, an increase of 31.8% as compared with the same period of last year. 108 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 40.3%, and we have been in 29 events organized by friends or by us! Anima-October Adoption (C1603-Maya)!

<13-10-2017> Maya was adopted by Mr. Alan on 13th October 2017! C1603-Maya (F), around six months old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 18th June 2017, after a call from Ms. Yu reporting that her neighbors found a cat fell into her balcony at Edificio Wan Seng. The neighbors contacted fire department to help but they were not allowed to enter Ms. Yu's apartment. C1603-Maya was checked by our vet. Her right leg was limping and needed further examination. Anima-October Return to Family (C1715-Cruz)!

<13-10-2017> C1715-Cruz (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st September 2017, after a call from Ms. Chu reporting that there was a kitten at Kao Yip School couple days before. She tried to feed him but he didn't eat the food. She asked us for help. C1715-Cruz was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has stayed at the Cat Paradise since that day. Today we received a call from Cruz's owner Ms. U. She said that Cruz used to live in her shop. Now she promised will keep Cruz in her apartment instead of inside her shop. Anima-October Sad News (C1230-Mat)!

<12-10-2017> C1230-Mat (M), around one year old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 8th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that a cat was living in the car park of Nam Sun Garden Building. He was checked by our vet and stayed with us. On 10th October he was found with bloated belly and vomited some yellowish liquid. He was sent to a clinic immediately. The ultrasound showed that his abdomen was full of ascites and suspected FIP. This morning he was found dehydrated, jaundice and with difficulty in breathing. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-October Foster (C1456-Misty)!

<11-10-2017> Misty was fostered by Mr. Dennis again on 11th October 2017! C1456-Misty (F), around nine months old at that time, was rescued by Anima on 14th March 2017, after a call from Ms. Bing informing that she had 16 cats but she was not able to keep them anymore as she was sick and needs to have a surgery. C1456-Misty was brought by Ms. Bing's son to Cats' Paradise. She was checked by our vet and dewormed. On 1st September 2017, she was fostered by Mr. Dennis. However on 16th September she was sent to us as she had upper respiratory tract infection and refused to eat. Now she has finished the medication treatment and returned to Mr. Dennis's home again. C1520-Allie (F), around one year old at that time, was rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy reporting that she feeds some cats in Guia and she found many have been poisoned there.
