Anima–Information about SPP1925-Stefan (3)!

<08-09-2017> SPP1925-Stefan (M), around three years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 4th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Hoi reporting that a dog was hit by a car in a site. SPP1925-Stefan is paralysed as his spine was broken. After several vets’ opinion the last recommendation was not for surgery but for physiotherapy. Fortunately our friend Ms. Janny Vong accepted to keep him and accepted to assume the responsibility for all the treatment. Anima will pay all bills up to next Monday and a Campaign is already under progress to help Stefan! Anima campaign for helping Stefan will be closed at the end of this month. All funds will be transferred to Janny Vong accounts at the end of September. Anima–September Return (SPPC1244-Jeff)!

<08-09-2017> SPPC1244-Jeff (M), on the time around three months old, under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 27th July 2016, after a call from Michele, reporting that SPPC1244-Jeff needed medical care. SPPC1244-Jeff was brought back to Anima on 6th April 2017 and 19th July 2017 due to gingivitis. He came on 5th September 2017 again because he was dehydrated and weak. His gingivitis was getting worse and cause him pain to eat. He stayed with us for treatment and was back to his former place today. Michele is responsible for him in that area. Thanks Michele! Anima–September Rescue and Sad News (C1705-Lucky)!

<08-09-2017> C1705-Lucky (M), few days old, was rescued by Anima on 8th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Kwok reporting that a new born kitten was found with umbilical cord in Rua Três da Areia Preta this morning. Ms. Kwok took him to her shop and asked our help. C1705-Lucky was very weak and he had hypothermia. We tried to feed him but he refused to drink the milk. Anima–September Foster (C1684-Horlick)!

<07-09-2017> The two typhoons caused a huge damage in our dogs’ shelter and Cat’s Paradise. Especially the free area of our Cat’s Paradise was almost completed destroyed! Ceilings were broken by fall down trees and all the nets protecting the cats were destroyed! As so, we asked urgently help from our community friends to foster our animal until we fix the ceilings. Anima–September Adoption (1915, 1916)!

<07-09-2017> Prince and Princess were adopted by Mr. Nuno on 7th September 2017! 1915-Prince (M) and 1916-Princess (F), on the time both around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that two puppies were found abandoned outside the main entrance of our dog shelter. 1915-Prince and 1916-Princess were checked in our clinic and dewormed. <07-09-2017> C1704-So Mao (M), around four years old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 7th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that her cat passed away and asked our help to handle the body. Ms. Wong moved to a new apartment one week ago and on that time her cat was missing. Today she came back to the old apartment and found that C1704-So Mao was dead behind the fridge. Anima–Information about SPP1925-Stefan!

<06-09-2017> SPP1925-Stefan (M), around three years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 4th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Hoi reporting that a dog was hit by a car in a site. SPP1925-Stefan was sent to a clinic for consultation and subject to an x-ray. The report showed that he is paralysed as his spine was broken. According to the vet, there is not much chance that he can walk again even if he has a surgery. Stefan was sent to another clinic for a second opinion. The opinion of the second clinic was very similar: even with a surgery he will never walk again and the probabilities of improving its actual situation is less than 40 per cent!
