Anima–August Sad News (292-Nuvens)!

<29-08-2017> 292-Nuvens (F), around 10 years old now, was rescued by Anima on 20th November 2009 and passed away in her pen during the night. 292-Nuvens was getting sick since one week ago. X-ray showed that she had a tumor and it was spreading. 292-Nuvens was under dripping, treatment and force feeding as she refused to eat. Unfortunately she couldn’t make it. Nuvens was one of our eldest dogs that had stayed with us for so long. When people saw her, their first reaction might be a bit scared because she was bigger than normal size, but actually she was extremely friendly. We will miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Anima–August Adoption (C1509-Leslie)!

<28-08-2017> Leslie was adopted by Mr. Chan on 28th August 2017! C1509-Leslie (M), on the time around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Wong, reporting that a kitten was found in Rua do Cunha. He asked us to help. C1509-Leslie was checked by our vet and de-wormed. He had diarrhea and fever. He has recovered and was now adopted. Thanks Mr. Chan! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–August Sad News (C1659-Harris)!

<28-08-2017> C1659-Harris (M), on the time around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd July 2017, after a call from Ms. Kan reporting that four kittens were trapped in the trail of Small Taipa. Ms. Kan contacted the fire department to help but they didn’t succeed to get them out. C1659-Harris was caught and delivered to Anima. C1659-Harris was checked by our vet and dewormed. He stayed in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise. C1659-Harris was checked in our clinic one week ago as he refused to eat and had diarrhea. Anima–August Sad News (C1523-Alfa)!

<28-08-2017> C1519-Alma (F) and C1520-Allie (F), around two years and one year old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, reporting that she took them home the night before and asked us if we could take to Anima all the cats she feeds in Guia as she found many have been poisoned there. C1512-Wifi was taken on the 3rd of May 2017! They were brought to Anima, checked by our vet and de-wormed. C1519-Alma had severe gingivitis and upper respiratory problems. She was breathing hard with yellowish nasal discharge and was dehydrated. C1520-Allie was pregnant and was delivered to Cat Paradise for quarantine. C1523-Alfa (M), C1524-Beta, C1525-Gamma, C1526-Delta, C1527-Omega were born by C1520-Allie on 10th May 2017! Unfortunately C1523-Alfa passed away this morning. Anima–August Sad News (255-Sophie)!

<28-08-2017> 255-Sophie (F), around 11 years old now, passed away this afternoon. 255-Sophie was checked in our clinic two weeks ago due to difficulty in breathing. She was skinny and dehydrated. She had been under dripping and observation since that. Unfortunately she couldn’t make it, and the cause of death was a lymphoma. Sophie was one of our eldest dogs that had stayed with us for so long. She was very friendly and always shaking her tail to show you how happy she was. We will miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Help us being a temporary foster family of our cats!

<26-08-2017> Dear Friend, The free area of our Cats Paradise was almost completed destroyed! Ceilings were broken by fall down trees and all the nets protecting the cats were destroyed! We have lost at the moment around 40 cats! Now we can not have cats outside the houses, in the free area, and this situation creates another problem. Anima is facing several flows of virus transmittable only between cats. As we have to reduce the area where they are now, especially the airy area, we are creating more chances for all healthy cats to get easily contaminated! If you do not have cats at home, please help us fostering one or two of our cats for a period of two months, the time we preview we need to fix all fences and ceilings! Anima–August Sad News (C1685-Derrick)!

<25-08-2017> C1685-Derrick (M) and C1686-Dewey (M), on the time both around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from our board member Mr. Francisco Leandro, reporting that there were around 10 cats in a Hotel in Macau in very bad situation. The hotel’s staff helped us to catch the cats. We have provided a trap! C1685-Derrick and C1686-Dewey were caught on 1st August 2017 and were checked in our clinic. C1685-Derrick had skin problem. C1686-Dewey had eyes and skin problems. They stayed in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise under medication. C1685-Derrick had diarrhea problem since he was rescued.
