Anima–August Rescue (SPPC1181-Davian)!

<17-08-2017> SPPC1181-Davian (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele on 29th April 2016, being around one month old and came back to Anima on 7 March 2017 for consultation. Davian had gingivitis and felt pain when eating. The gums were very red and inflamed. On 24th March 2017, he came again for the same reason. Davian was rescued again on 18th May 2017, and brought to Anima for consultation. He continues to have gingivitis. SPPC1181-Davian stayed in V6 for treatment and observation. Today he came again as his gingivitis is getting worse. He was back to his place after medication prescribed. Michele is responsible for him in that area. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima–August Sad News (SPPC1324-Polly)!

<16-08-2017> The mother, SPPC1324-Polly (F), on the time with an estimated age of three years old, together with her kittens, SPPC1325-Becky (F), SPPC1326-Sawyer (M) and SPPC1327-Huck (M), on the time all with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 7th November 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Polly had upper respiratory infection and the breathing was not clear. Becky, Sawyer and Huck had eye discharge and inflammation. They were returned to their former place after dewormed and medication prescribed in the same day. They were brought to Anima again on 29th November 2016 and stayed with us since that. Polly had been getting sick since 10th July 2017. She had kidney failure and was getting weaker each day. Polly was under treatment and force feeding as she refused to eat. Anima–Fountain of Hope visited us!

<15-08-2017> Today, 27 people visited us, 12 of them were from Fountain of Hope that came to our Cat’s Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to July 2017, Anima received 5,601 visitors, an increase of 33.8% as compared with the same period of last year. 83 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 29.7%, and we have been in 28 events organized by friends or by us, an increase of 40%! Anima–August Sad News (1224-Terry)!

<15-08-2017> 1224-Terry (M), was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2014, after a call from Ms. Ng reporting that a dog was hit by a car in a site of Ka Ho. His leg was very damaged and we had no choice than to cut his leg. 1224-Terry stayed with us since that. He passed away last night in his pen. 1224-Terry was one of our three legs dog. He lived in the free area of main entrance. Every visitor might be scared by his barking in the first beginning, but actually he was just calling you to pet him. We will miss you! R.I.P. my friend! Anima–August Rescue and IACM Cooperation (R038-Haskell)!

<15-08-2017> R038-Haskell (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 15th August 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space in the kennel as they need that space for more rescues. R038-Haskell was neutered and dewormed. He is staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise now. Anima and IACM are cooperating in order to save as many animals as possible! Thanks IACM! Anima–August Return to Family (C1209, C1238)!

<14-08-2017> C1209-Sirus and C1238-Venice were returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for four days. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! <14-08-2017> C1693-Granny (F), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 14th August 2017, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that she will immigrate soon and she will not take care of her cat anymore. According to her, she tried to find a new home for C1693-Granny since eight months ago but failed. C1693-Granny was spayed and vaccinated. She is staying in free area in our Cat’s Paradise now. Anima–August Sad News (C1610-Tuna)!

<13-08-2017> C1610-Tuna (F), on the time with an estimated age of 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd June 2017, after a call from our rescue team reporting that a kitten was found in the tunnel of Dynasty, soaked and unable to move. C1610-Tuna was checked by our vet and dewormed. She stayed in our Cat’s Paradise. C1610-Tuna was checked in our clinic last week due to diarrhea. She had roundworm and coronavirus. Anima–August Return (SPP1829-Borsa)!

<12-08-2017> SPP1829-Borsa (F), on the time with an estimated age of seven years old, was under our Special Protection Program when was rescued by Anima on 26th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, reporting that her friend, Ms. Hui, used to feed a dog in a site of Taipa. Borsa got injured on the leg and the hip. We helped Ms. Hui to send Borsa to a clinic as Borsa was difficult to handle. Borsa was returned to her former place after medication prescribed. We were informed by Ms. Hui again that SPP1829-Borsa was injured on 22nd July 2017. She had a big wound on her back. SPP1829-Borsa was sent to a clinic and she received a surgery to close up the wound with 14 stitches. She stayed with us until she recovered and now was released.
