Anima–August Sad News (255-Sophie)!

<28-08-2017> 255-Sophie (F), around 11 years old now, passed away this afternoon. 255-Sophie was checked in our clinic two weeks ago due to difficulty in breathing. She was skinny and dehydrated. She had been under dripping and observation since that. Unfortunately she couldn’t make it, and the cause of death was a lymphoma. Sophie was one of our eldest dogs that had stayed with us for so long. She was very friendly and always shaking her tail to show you how happy she was. We will miss you! R.I.P. my friend! <27-08-2017> Dear Friend, If you want to foster please, if possible, try your best to contact first the shelters to fix a time. The free area of our Cats Paradise was almost completed destroyed! Ceilings were broken by fall down trees and all the nets protecting the cats were destroyed! Help us being a temporary foster family of our cats!

<26-08-2017> Dear Friend, The free area of our Cats Paradise was almost completed destroyed! Ceilings were broken by fall down trees and all the nets protecting the cats were destroyed! We have lost at the moment around 40 cats! Now we can not have cats outside the houses, in the free area, and this situation creates another problem. Anima is facing several flows of virus transmittable only between cats. As we have to reduce the area where they are now, especially the airy area, we are creating more chances for all healthy cats to get easily contaminated! If you do not have cats at home, please help us fostering one or two of our cats for a period of two months, the time we preview we need to fix all fences and ceilings! Anima–August Sad News (C1685-Derrick)!

<25-08-2017> C1685-Derrick (M) and C1686-Dewey (M), on the time both around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from our board member Mr. Francisco Leandro, reporting that there were around 10 cats in a Hotel in Macau in very bad situation. The hotel’s staff helped us to catch the cats. We have provided a trap! C1685-Derrick and C1686-Dewey were caught on 1st August 2017 and were checked in our clinic. C1685-Derrick had skin problem. C1686-Dewey had eyes and skin problems. They stayed in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise under medication. C1685-Derrick had diarrhea problem since he was rescued. <24-08-2017> C704-Jumbo (M), around four years old now, was rescued by Anima on 1st May 2014, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a cat needed our help. C704-Jumbo stayed with us since that. He was checked in our clinic three days ago as was not eating. He was under dripping and treatment but unfortunately he couldn’t make it, and the cause of death was FIP. We will miss you! Anima–August Rescue (SPP1923-Box)!

<24-08-2017> SPP1923-Box (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 24th August 2017, after a call from Ms. Hoi reporting that four dogs were injured in a site due to typhoon Hato. Ms. Hoi brought one of them to a clinic and asked us to help the other three dogs. She managed to catch SPP1923-Box today. SPP1923-Box was limping and he was checked in our clinic. He was returned to his place after medication prescribed. Ms. Hoi will help us to catch the other two dogs. She is responsible for them in that area. Anima–August Rescue (1922-Obama)!

<24-08-2017> 1922-Obama (M), around seven months old, was rescued by Anima on 24th August 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that a dog was wandering alone near Anima. 1922-Obama was friendly and hungry! No microchip was found on him. As we are completely full, 1922-Obama was delivered to IACM for adoption. We will keep an eye on him and when we have an opportunity we will collect him back! <23-08-2017> The mother, C1654-Mamie (F), around two years old, with her three kittens, C1655-Mable (F), C1656-Makena (F) and C1657-Manus (M), on the time all around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 22nd July 2017, after a call from Ms. Shum reporting that a cat gave birth in Yuet Wah College recently and needed our help. C1654-Mamie, C1655-Mable, C1656-Makena and C1657-Manus were checked by our vet and dewormed. C1657-Manus was checked in our clinic two weeks ago due to dehydration and not eating. <23-08-2017> C639-Cheong Ming (F), around 6.5 years old now, was rescued by Anima on 6th February 2014 and was found already pregnant near Bras da Rosa. C641-Anika (F), C642-Andrea (F) and C643-Antos (M), were born by C639-Cheong Ming in shelter on 9th February 2014. They stayed with us since that. C639-Cheong Ming had been getting skinny since one week ago. She had diarrhea, jaundice, upper respiratory tract infection with nasal and ocular discharge.
