Anima–August Rescue (1915, 1916)!

<01-08-2017> 1915-Prince (M) and 1916-Princess (F), both around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that two puppies were found abandoned outside the main entrance of our dog shelter. 1915-Prince and 1916-Princess were checked in our clinic and dewormed. They are staying in quarantine in our vet area now. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–August Rescue (C1685, C1686)!

<01-08-2017> C1685-Derrick (M) and C1686-Dewey (M), both around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from our board member Mr. Francisco Leandro, reporting that there were around 10 cats in a Hotel in Macau in very bad situation. The hotel’s staff is helping us to catch the cats. We have provided a trap! Today C1685-Derrick and C1686-Dewey were caught and were checked in our clinic. C1685-Derrick has skin problem. C1686-Dewey has eyes and skin problems. They are staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise under medication now. Thanks Mr. Francisco Leandro and the Hotel staff! Please help us to help them! <01-08-2017> C1684-Horlick (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from Ms. Lee reporting that a cat was found in her building at Edificio Lai Va San Chun. Anima–Member fee adjustment from September on!

<01-08-2017> Anima member fee was fixed since 2003 and wasn’t changed for many years. Due to the inflation  and the growth of our expenses we decide to adjust our member fee. Anima has now  one more shelter opened last year and the number of animals  taken care by us has increased every year. We are rescued hundreds animals per year!  From September 2017 on, our  membership  fee will be MOP 600 per year for an adult (or MOP 50 per month) and MOP 180 per year for a juvenile (or MOP 15 per month)! Those that already paid don’t need to pay more, you will only need to follow the new rates when you have to pay next time! As our member, you  have discounts in many services, including medicine and vacines,  accommodation, consultation, dinners, any events, merchandising  and transportation of your animals. Anima–Services provided to our community (TR015-Chu Chai)!

<31-07-2017> Anima helped Ms. Chan to deliver her dog TR015-Chu Chai (F) to dog kennel for license. A fee is collected to help the financing of our activities. Some community members that cannot afford do no pay at all. Anima members are exempt! To be a member of Anima you just need to pay an annual fee of MOP 360 if you are an adult or MOP 120 if you are a juvenile! Please help us to help them! Never abandon your pet! Anima–July Return to Family (1827-Eris)!

<31-07-2017> 1827-Eris was returned to the family after accommodation in Anima for 22 days, since 10th July 2017. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates, provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450 patacas, enough to pay two annual membership fees in the first case and one and a quarter year of membership...

Anima-July Sad News (B076-Bibi)!

<31-07-2017> B076-Bibi, was rescued by Anima on 30th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Kwan reporting that a bird fell down from the nest on a street near Rua da Palha. B076-Bibi was unable to fly. B076-Bibi was staying in a clinic for observation. We were informed by the clinic that Bibi passed away in the afternoon as Bibi was very weak. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–Temporary Accommodation (C575-Zhai Zhai)!

<30-07-2017> Zhai Zhai is now accommodated in Anima for 34 days until 1st September 2017. C575-Zhai Zhai (M), was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2013, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a cat was found with one leg hurt, in a site of Macau. Ms. Lam is the volunteer who helps Anima to take care of dogs and cats in a site. Zhai Zhai was sent to a clinic and stayed there for treatment. Anima decided after the recovery that he has no conditions to go back to that area and as so he was welcome to be part of our family. Zhai Zhai was adopted by Mr. Victor on 19th December 2014. Anima–July Sad News (C1584-Rider)!

<30-07-2017> C1582-Ryden (M), around 2 years old, C1583-Rusty (M), around one year old and C1584-Rider (M), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on the 8th June 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for those cats as they need space for saving other cats! They were staying in free area in our Cat’s Paradise. C1584-Rider had jaundice and upper respiratory infection with nasal and ocular discharge. Unfortunately he died this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–July Adoption (C1682, C1683)!

<30-07-2017> Naomi and Nino were adopted by Ms. Chan on 30th July 2017! The mother, C1682-Naomi (F), around two years old, and her kitten, C1683-Nino (M), around two months old, were rescued by Anima on 29th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that she used to feed cats somewhere in Macau. C1682-Naomi has four kittens and three of them were adopted already. Ms. Chan asked us to take over C1682-Naomi and her last kitten.
