Anima–August Rescue and Sad News (C1692-Mia)!

<10-08-2017> C1692-Mia (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 10th August 2017, after a call from Ms. Gu reporting that a kitten was found lying on the building entrance floor near Rua dos Faitios. Ms. Gu was told that C1692-Mia fell down from the building since morning. C1692-Mia was sent to a clinic immediately but unfortunately she passed away in the evening. R.I.P. my friend! Thanks Ms. Gu! Anima–August Rescue (1920-Abbe)!

<10-08-2017> 1920-Abbe (M), around seven months old, was rescued by Anima on 10th August 2017, after a call from Mr. Ng, reporting that he found an injured dog near the Temporary Taipa Maritime Ferry Terminal few days ago. 1920-Abbe has two legs limping and  was sent to a clinic by a passerby last night. The vet suspected that 1920-Abbe has tick fever. An x-ray also showed multiple fractures on his legs. 1920-Abbe was transferred to a second clinic by us. He is staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Mr. Ng! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–August Rescue (SPPC1647, SPPC1648)!

<10-08-2017> SPPC1646-Jack (M), SPPC1647-Nadia (F) and SPPC1648-Sabina (F), on the time all around one month old, were under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 19th July 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that three kittens needed body check. SPPC1646-Jack, SPPC1647-Nadia and SPPC1648-Sabina were brought to Anima several times for consultation. Today SPPC1647-Nadia and SPPC1648-Sabina were back to Anima again as they have cat flu and were not eating as well. They are staying with us  under dripping now. Thanks Michele! Anima–August Adoption (SPPC1497-MJ)!

<09-08-2017> MJ was adopted by Mr. Evans on 9th August 2017! SPPC1497-MJ (F) and SPPC1498-Bub (M), on the time all around one and half months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP), after being rescued by Anima through Michele on 17th April 2017! They were checked by our vet and de-wormed. Bub had an eye infection. After medication, they were returned to their place and fostered by Michele temporarily. On 28th April 2017, they came back for consultation and for staying with us in Cats`Paradise  available for adoption! SPPC1497-MJ has stayed with us until now. Thanks Mr. Evans! Anima–August Return to Family (C1253-Hambly)!

<08-08-2017> C1253-Hambly was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for 11 days since 29th July 2017. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450 patacas, enough to pay one annual membership fees in the first case and nine months of membership fees in case of...

Anima–August Adoption (C1602-Flyer)!

<08-08-2017> Flyer was adopted by Ms. Chong on 8th August 2017! C1381-William (M), together with C1601-Blacky (F) and C1602-Flyer (M), all around three years old, were rescued by Anima on 18th June 2017, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that she couldn’t keep her cats anymore. C1381-William and C1382-Harry were first rescued by Anima on 13th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that she couldn’t keep her two cats temporarily. According to Ms. Mui, she used to rescue dogs in the street and had rented a place to put the dogs, but the owner got the place back so she had to put all the dogs inside her house. Her two cats couldn’t get along well with the dogs, and she had no more space to separate them. William and Harry stayed in our Cat’s Paradise temporarily. Anima–August Sad News (C1476-Stark)!

<08-08-2017> C1476-Stark (M), around six years old and C1477-Stoma (F), around seven years old, were rescued by Anima on 3rd April 2017, after a call from Ms. Hoi, informing that they belonged to a workshop in Hac Sa beach, but they got sick recently and the workshop stopped taking care of them. They were checked by our vet and de-wormed. Both cats were in bad shape. C1476-Stark was skinny and had severe skin problems, hair loss everywhere all over the body and full of fleas. C1477-Stoma was severely dehydrated, full of ocular and nasal discharge and drooling from the mouth. C1476-Stark stayed in Cat Paradise for quarantine and treatment. C1477-Stoma stayed in V6 under IV dripping and close observation. C1476-Stark was checked on 31st July as he was getting skinny and losing appetite. He passed away this afternoon, and the cause of death is severe liver problem. R.I.P. my friend! Please help...

Anima–August Sad News (C1469-Katherine)!

<08-08-2017> C1469-Katherine (F), with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima on 25th March 2017, after a call from Mrs. Mak, informing that Katherine was abandoned outside her house in Edificio Yuen Wa. She asked us to help as she had 13 cats already.  C1469-Katherine was checked by our vet and she was very dehydrated. She stayed in our vet area for treatment. She was checked in our clinic again few weeks ago because she was losing weight, dehydrated and had severe gingivitis. Katherine had been under medication since that. She was found death today, and the cause of death was renal problems and gingivitis. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–August Sad News (C593-Ottoline)!

<08-08-2017> C593-Ottoline (M), was rescued by Anima on 30th September 2013 as he was attacked by two dogs and was badly injured  on that time. Ottoline had recovered and stayed with us. He was getting sick since one week ago. He had difficulty in breathing and blood was found in his nasal discharge. Ottoline had been under treatment but unfortunately he couldn’t make it. Anima–August Sad News (R035-Gus)!

<08-08-2017> R035-Gus (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 11th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Lau reporting that a rabbit was abandoned in a pet transport bag on a motorcycle in Estrada da Bela Vista. The motorcycle’s owner informed us that R035-Gus doesn’t belong to her. R035-Gus was checked by our vet and dewormed. He stayed in  our Cat’s Paradise. R035-Gus was found weak this morning.
