Anima–July Rescue (SPPC1437-Calla)!

<27-07-2017> SPPC1436-Cally (F), on the time with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPPC1437-Calla (F), on the time with an estimated age of nine months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 27th February 2017, somewhere in Taipa. They were dewormed, received the 1st vaccination and returned to their former place after body check. Today SPPC1437-Calla was brought back to Anima. She is staying with us temporarily now. Anima–July Rescue (T010-Toto)!

<27-07-2017> T010-Toto (M), was rescued by Anima on 27th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a tortoise was found in the entrance of Tail of Coloane Park C1 and asked our help. July Rescue and IACM Cooperation (C1676-C1679)!

<27-07-2017> C1676-Lynn (M), around three years old, C1677-Levis (M) and C1678-Lenny (M), both around two years old, C1679-Lillie (F), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on 27th July 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats in the kennel as they need that space for more rescues. They were all neutered and vaccinated by IACM. They were delivered to Anima Cat’s Paradise and they stay in our free area now. Anima–July Rescue (C1675-Bob)!

<27-07-2017> C1675-Bob (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 27th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Lai reporting that an injured cat was found in Rua Norte do Patane, opposite to Escola Madalena de Canossa, at Fai Chi Kei area. C1675-Bob was checked in our clinic. He is under dripping as he is dehydrated. He will have further examination and x-rays to see if there are any fractures. Thanks Ms. Lai! Anima–July Sad News (C1580-Eggplant)!

<26-07-2017> C1562-Heidi (F), was rescued by Anima on 29th May 2017, with around two years old, after a call from Mr. Leong, informing that he has rescued a pregnant cat, C1562-Heidi, near Estrada de Ferreira do Amaral the night before. As he had no experience for taking care of a pregnant cat, he asked us to help. Heidi was in our Cats’ Paradise and C1577-Cabbage, C1578-Pea, C1579-Celery, C1580-Eggplant (M) were born on 4th June 2017. C1580-Eggplant and his siblings were checked by vet on 20th July due to enlarged mandibular lymph nodes and upper respiratory tract infection. He was under force feeding as well. Anima–July Sad News (C1481-Muji)!

<26-07-2017> C1478-Marlo (M), born on 21st March 2013, C1479-Marfy (F), born on 23rd February 2014, C1480-Mukki (F), born on 14th March 2014 and C1481-Muji (F), born on 1st January 2015, were rescued by Anima after a call from IACM reporting that as they have no space, those cats were prepared to go to Anima. They were all neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. C1481-Muji had received a corneal transplant surgery on the left eye when in IACM. She finished the medication but she kept scratching her eye. She had to wear collar for a while and was staying in C9 for cleaning the eyes every day until her condition was stable enough to go to the free area. C1481-Muji was transferred to our vet area on 2nd July 2017 as she was not eating and dehydrated. She was under dripping and unfortunately she couldn’t make it. C1481-Muji was found death this morning,...

Anima–July Sad News (C1387-Muffin)!

<26-07-2017> C1387-Muffin (M), with an estimated age of two years old, C1388-Nacho (F), with an estimated age of three years old, C1389-Popcorn (F), with an estimated age of two years old, C1390-Sundae (F) and C1391-Waffles (F), both with an estimated age of nine months old, C1392-Coco (M) with an estimated age of seven months old, were rescued by Anima on 19th January 2017, after a call from IACM asking Anima to help those animals that have been placed for adoption for long time without success. They stayed in free area in our Cat’s Paradise. C1387-Muffin was transferred to our vet area as he was dehydrated and weak yesterday. Blood test showed that he had renal and liver problem. He was under dripping and unfortunately he couldn't make it. He was found death this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–July Rescue and Sad News (B074-Jane)!

<26-07-2017> B074-Jane, was rescued by Anima already dead on 26th July 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that a bird body was found in our shelter. As there were some bite marks on the body, we suspected that B074-Jane was killed by the dogs. The body will be delivered to Macau Kennel. R.I.P. my friend! Sorry, this is the life! Anima–July Sad News (SPP1203-Mui Mui)!

<25-07-2017> SPP1203-Mui Mui (F), a white dog, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP), together with SPP819-Gor Gor (M), a dark brown dog, from 22nd January 2014, and they were living near Miramar Restaurant in Coloane. We have detected the disappearance of Mui Mui on 17th July 2017 and we tried immediately to find her. We were not able to find her before today, even using Gor Gor with us. Mui Mui was a very gentle lady and never went too far away of her place. Anima has provided two houses for Mui Mui and Gor Gor inside Miramar area, and they were being taken care by the staff of Miramar Restaurant and by Anima rescue team! It’s strange that she disappeared  and didn’t come back to her place as she wasn’t collected by IACM. This has never happened in the past! Her body was found this morning in the bushes of...

Anima–July Rescue (C1672-C1674)!

<25-07-2017> C1672-Hayden (M), C1673-Hector (M) and C1674-Heath (M), all around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 25th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Kan reporting that four kittens were trapped in the trail of Small Taipa. Ms. Kan contacted the fire department to help but they didn't succeed to get them out. We decided that they will be  caught when they go out to look for food by Ms. Kan that is feeding them in that area every day. C1659-Harris was caught on 22nd July 2017 and delivered to Anima. Today C1672-Hayden, C1673-Hector and C1674-Heath were caught. They were checked by our vet and dewormed. They are staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise now. Thanks Ms. Kan!
