Anima–August Rescue (C1690-Basil)!

<08-08-2017> C1690-Basil (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 8th August 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a kitten was found in Rua de Coelho do Amaral. C1690-Basil was checked in our clinic. He has upper respiratory tract infection,  eye problems and was sneezing. He is under medication and observation now. Thanks Mr. Leong! Anima–August Rescue (SPPC1179, SPPC1691)!

<08-08-2017> SPPC1179-Dabria (F), on the time around one year old, was rescued by Anima and was under our Special Protection Program since 29th April 2016, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. SPPC1691-Bay (M), around one year old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 8th August 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. They were checked in our clinic today. SPPC1179-Dabria is staying with us temporarily and SPPC1691-Bay was returned to his place. Michele is responsible for them in that area. Anima–August Rescue (SPPC1646-SPPC1648)!

<08-08-2017> SPPC1646-Jack (M), SPPC1647-Nadia (F) and SPPC1648-Sabina (F), on the time all around one month old, were under our Special Protection Program when rescued by Anima on 19th July 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that three kittens needed body check. All of them were back to their former place after checking. They were brought back to Anima on 5th August as they had high fever. Today they were checked in our clinic and they were recovered. SPPC1646-Jack, SPPC1647-Nadia and SPPC1648-Sabina were returned to their place after consultation. Michele is responsible for them in that area. Anima–August Sad News (C1579-Celery)!

<07-08-2017> C1562-Heidi (F), was rescued by Anima on 29th May 2017, with around two years old, after a call from Mr. Leong, informing that he has rescued a pregnant cat, C1562-Heidi, near Estrada de Ferreira do Amaral the night before. As he had no experience for taking care of a pregnant cat, he asked us to help. Heidi was in our Cats’ Paradise and C1577-Cabbage, C1578-Pea, C1579-Celery (M), C1580-Eggplant (M) were born on 4th June 2017. C1579-Celery had upper respiratory tract infection and he was under force feeding. Unfortunately he died this evening. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–August Adoption (T010-ToTo)!

<07-08-2017> ToTo was adopted by Ms. Ritchie on 7th August 2017! T010-Toto (M), was rescued by Anima on 27th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a tortoise was found in the entrance of Tail of Coloane Park C1 and asked our help. Anima–August Sad News (C791-Renee)!

<07-08-2017> C791-Renee (F), around 4.5 years old now, was rescued by Anima on 3rd September 2014, after a call from Ms. Liu reporting that there was a cat in a construction site that will be closed, near Travessa da Se. She was pregnant. We decided to rescue and as the pregnancy was too developed we decided also to keep the kittens once born. C791-Renee was getting sick since two weeks ago. She had gingivitis and had been under medication. Yesterday she became very weak and dehydrated. She was under dripping but unfortunately she couldn’t make it. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–August Rescue (1564-Laurel)!

<07-08-2017> 1564-Laurel (F), 1562-Larrie, 1563-Lora and 1565-Losa, were rescued by Anima on 21st October 2015, after a call from Ms. Chong referring that 1562-Larrie was stuck under the floor board near Ka-Ho barbeque site and asked if we could help. The fire department and the police were also called and they asked us to save the puppies. Laurel was adopted on 22nd December 2015. We were informed by IACM on 26th June 2017 that Laurel was caught in Estr. Marginal da Ilha Verde on 12th June 2017. The excuse of the adopter was that he asked his friend to return Laurel to us but his friend didn’t do it and also gave the dog away. The adopter told us he would pick up Laurel in IACM and take her home. But IACM informed us on 30th June 2017 that the adopter went to IACM to complete the abandonment procedure. Laurel stayed in...

<06-08-2017> C1529-Jomen (M), C1530-Jono (M) and C1531-Joci (F), all around two years old, were rescued by Anima on the 10th May 2017, after a call from IACM, asking us to help keeping them in Anima as the kennel had no more space for other rescues. They have all microchip, were spayed and properly vaccinated. They were de-wormed, checked and delivered to Cat Paradise. C1529-Jomen had upper respiratory infection, ocular and nasal discharge. <06-08-2017> C1521-Sine (F) and C1522-Cosine (F), both around four years old, were rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from IACM, asking us to help keeping them in Anima as the kennel has no more space for other rescues. They have all microchip, were spayed and properly vaccinated. They were de-wormed, checked and delivered to Cat Paradise. C1521-Sine had upper respiratory infection and gingivitis.
