Anima–July Adoption (C1381-William)!

<15-07-2017> William was adopted by Mr. Hong on 15th July 2017! C1381-William (M), together with C1601-Blacky (F) and C1602-Flyer (M), all around three years old, were rescued by Anima on 18th June 2017, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that she couldn’t keep her cats anymore. C1381-William and C1382-Harry were first rescued by Anima on 13th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that she couldn’t keep her two cats temporarily. According to Ms. Mui, she used to rescue dogs in the street and had rented a place to put the dogs, but the owner got the place back so she had to put all the dogs inside her house. Her two cats couldn’t get along well with the dogs, and she had no more space to separate them. William and Harry stayed in our Cat’s Paradise temporarily. Ms. Mui visited us on 14th...

Anima–July Rescue (1910-Maru)!

<15-07-2017> 1910-Maru (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that a puppy was found soaked and unable to move in a trail of Coloane. 1910-Maru was sent to a clinic for an x-rays. 1910-Maru is staying in the clinic for observation now. Anima–July Rescue (1909-Ekin)!

<15-07-2017> 1909-Ekin (M), around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that his friend, Mr. Fernando, found a group of puppies needed our help, in a site of Taipa. According to Mr. Fernando, five adults, including the mother and six puppies, were living there. But the adults don’t care much about the puppies and two puppies were missing already and one got sick. Mr. Fernando brought the sick one to a clinic and asked our help. 1909-Ekin was caught and brought to Anima today. Mr. Fernando will try to catch the other two puppies. Anima–July Sad News (C1048-Boyd)!

<14-07-2017> C1047-Buddy and C1048-Boyd, both males, on the time around 1.5 months and 3 weeks, respectively, were rescued by Anima on 8th October 2015, after a call from Michelle that brought them to Anima. C1048-Boyd had been getting sick and he was transferred to our vet area since three days ago. He was under medication and observation but unfortunately he couldn’t make it. Anima–July Rescue (SPP1908-Pig Pig)!

<14-07-2017> SPP1908-Pig Pig (F), around seven years old,  now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 14th July 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a dog was injured in a site of Coloane. SPP1908-Pig Pig was sent to a clinic for an x-rays. Reported showed that she had a fracture in her right hind leg. SPP1908-Pig Pig is staying in the clinic under observation now. Thanks Mr. Chan! Anima–July Rescue (1906, 1907)!

<14-07-2017> 1906-Magic (F) and 1907-Honour (F), both around four years old, were rescued by Anima on 14th July 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that two greyhounds were sent to them by Canidrome for adoption. 1906-Magic and 1907-Honour were licensed by us in IACM. They are staying with us temporarily until they are capable to fly to Europe to be adopted by Kerry and Catherine. 1906-Magic is going to UK and 1907-Honour is going to France. A new and happy life is waiting for them. If anyone can be a foster family for few months, please feel free to let us know. Anima is trying its best to save all greyhounds and find them a new home. Anima–Save the Macau Greyhounds!

<14-07-2017> Anima, GREY2K USA Wordwide and Pet Levrieri of Italy are contacting now Animal Welfare Organizations and Rescue Centers all over the world to help Anima to re-home our greyhounds, in case the Macau Government is capable with us to convince Canidrome to give to us all those animals  allowing Anima to handle Canidrome area for one year time! This is the joint appeal, launched by the three organizations,  called 'Global Rehoming Appeal for the Canidrome Greyhounds' on how to help Anima Macau save the 650 greyhounds still alive and active at the Canidrome. Anima–July Sad News (SPPC1549-Abree)!

<13-07-2017> SPPC1547-Ayana (F), SPPC1548-Asad (M), SPPC1549-Abree (F), SPPC1550-Ali (M) and SPPC1551-Avery (M), on the time all around two months old, were rescued by Anima and under our Special Protection Program, on the 25th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. They were brought to Anima again for consultation on 26th June 2017 and they were staying with us for adoption. SPPC1549-Abree was getting sick and having diarrhea since yesterday. Anima–July Return to Family (SPPC1540-Ocean)!

<12-07-2017> SPPC1540-Ocean was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima since 3rd July 2017. SPPC1540-Ocean (M), on the time around five months old, was rescued by Anima on the 19th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa and was under our Special Protection Program (SPP). He was brought to Anima for consultation and was de-wormed and received the first vaccination. SPPC1540-Ocean was returned to his place after consultation and was under Michele responsibility. He came on 26th May 2017 again and he was staying in our Cats’ Paradise. He was adopted on 31st May 2017. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360).
