Anima–May Rescue and Return (SPP929-Lin)!

<18-05-2017> SPP929-Lin (F), around four years old, under our Special Protection Program (SPP) from 9th January 2014, was rescued by Anima again on 18th May 2017, as our rescue team found she had a wound in her face. She was brought to Anima for consultation and treatment. SPP929-Lin was returned to her place in Coloane after consultation. Anima is completely full! Please help us to help them! Anima – May Abandonment and Rescue (1629-Keira)!

<18-05-2017> 1620-Ibbie was rescued by Anima on 6th January after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that Ibbie was pregnant and living in a construction site in Coloane. On 12th January 2016, she gave birth to eight puppies, 1629-Keira, 1630-Kole, 1631-Kylee, 1632-Skye, 1633-Stammi, 1634-Sorrel, 1635-Bonzel and 1636-Bliss, four males and four females. 1629-Keira was adopted on 12th January 2016 and after abandoned in the kennel. The owner informed us that his landlord does not allow him to have dogs at home. He placed Keira in a pet shop and as this was very expensive he contacted us. We asked him to put Keira in kennel first as we will collect her as soon as we find a way to invent a space. We collected Keira today. She is staying in V0 during night time and is being socialized in Pen 29 during day time ! We are completely full! Never Abandon...

Anima – May Rescue (SPPC1181-Davian)!

<18-05-2017> SPPC1181-Davian (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele on 29th April 2016, being around one month old and came back to Anima on 7 March 2017 for consultation. Davian had gingivitis and feel pain when eating. The gums were very red and inflamed. On 24th March 2017, he came again for the same reason. He stayed in V8 for treatment. Now Davian was rescued again on 18th May 2017, and brought to Anima for consultation. He continues to have gingivitis. SPPC1181-Davian is now staying in V6 for treatment and observation. Anima–May Rescue (C1538 a C1539)!

<18-05-2017> C1538-Sanna (F) and C1539-Scout (M), around eight months and two years old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 18th May 2017, after a call from IACM, asking us to help keeping them in Anima as the kennel has no more space for other rescues. They have all microchip, are neutered and properly vaccinated. IACM and Anima are cooperating very intensively to save as many animals as possible. <16-05-2017> 1894-Roddie (M), with an estimated age of one year old, was rescued by Anima, after a call from Mr. Carvalhais of ARTM, already completed destroyed by a truck, on 16th May 2017, near Ka-Ho. Anima–May Rescue and Sad News (C1537-Tolina)!

<17-05-2017> C1537-Tolina (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on the 17th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Lou, informing that he had found a kitten, C1537-Tolina, lying on the ground in Pátio do Comandante Mata e Oliveira. She was brought to Anima and checked by out vet. C1537-Tolina was crying in pain when checking with an internal injury and bleeding. She was full of fleas with hypothermia, anemic and jaundice. She had an ocular and yellowish nasal discharge, suffering from upper respiratory infection. C1537-Tolina passed away half an hour after arriving Anima, still during the examination. Thanks Mr. Lou! <15-05-2017> C1535-Floyd (M) and C1536-Francis (M), around one year and two years old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 15th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, informing that she rescued them in Guia, where she used to feed cats, but the cats there were being poisoned. Anima–May Rescue (C1534-Isabella)!

<13-05-2017> C1534-Isabella (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on the 13th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Kuan, informing that C1534-Isabella was found in Rua das Estalagens and was unable to move. He asked us to help. C1534-Isabella was sent to a clinic immediately for consultation. She did an x-rays and the result showed she has no fracture but her bladder was very big. Anima – Hou Kong Middle School visited us!

<13-05-2017> Today, 41 people visited us, four were volunteers from Hou Kong Middle School! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to April 2017, Anima received 3,578 visitors, an increase of 37.7% as compared with the same period of last year. 45 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and we have been in 14 events organized by friends or by us!
