<03-05-2017> On the 3rd of May 2017, we received 28 boxes of towels and blankets from Venetian for our animals. The group of Sands (Macau), is an old sponsor of Anima, from 2011, and actually reached our level of Gold Sponsor. Anima-May Rescue (1875-Granny)!

<02-05-2017> 1875-Granny (F), around nine years old, was rescued by Anima on the 2nd May 2017, after we saw that she was wandering outside the Water Company near Anima. No microchip was found. She had skin problems and hair loss all over the body. 1875-Granny was delivered temporarily to Macau Kennel as we have no space for her now, but we will collect her as soon as we are capable to reorganize our space, which is not easy! She was for sure abandoned and that area is very dangerous for any dog being free as Altinho de Ka Ho is a serious killer road! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–May Rescue (C1511-Olsen)!

<02-05-2017> C1511-Olsen (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on the 2nd May 2017, after a call from Ms. Kan, reporting that Olsen entered in the terrace of her building at Jardins de Lisboa. She asked us to help. C1511-Olsen was not easy to catch. We set up a cat trap there as C1511-Olsen could fall down if we try to catch him as he was scared. Ms. Kan contacted us this morning informing that C1511-Olsen entered in the trap. C1511-Olsen was brought to Anima, checked by our vet and de-wormed. He is staying in Cats’ Paradise in quarantine. Anima–Group photo between Anima and Anihelp!

<30-04-2017> Today Mr. Oscar from Anihelp and Albano Martins, President of Anima, took a group photo regarding the agreement between Anima and Anihelp. An agreement of cooperation with 22 articles, that mainly establish the areas of cooperation between both organizations. The parties consider being in the interest of both institutions to cooperate in the fields of animal rescue, animal accommodation and animal adoption. The parties intent to work together to rescue animals at risk, keeping its organizational autonomy and independency at decision-making level. The parties understand the concept of animal at risk as follows: those animals displaying a condition assessed as to unable them to survive on their own, such as: (1) Animals abandoned in high traffic areas, puppies and kittens and pregnant animals; (2) Sick or injured animals; (3) All abandoned animals that display a high inability to survive on their own. <30-04-2017> C1510-Bunny (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 30th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Oscar of Anihelp, reporting that C1510-Bunny was found by a resident on the road of Rua De Santo Tiago Da Barra. Anima- April Sad News (C944-Cayla)!

C954-Cato and C955-Cayla were rescued by Anima on 22nd May 2015, after a call from Mrs. Hui reporting that Cato and Cayla (the mother) were part of a group of seven cats living in a construction site. People there seemed not happy seeing community members feeding the animals. She was also worried the workers will poison the remaining two as three already have disappeared suddenly. C955-Cayla passed away in V6 this afternoon due to severe jaundice and liver problem. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – Pooi To Middle School visited us!

<29-04-2017> Today, 58 people visited us, 24 were students from Pooi To Middle School, that came to our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to March 2017, Anima received 2,603 visitors, an increase of 35.7% as compared with the same period of last year. 28 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and we have been in nine events organized by friends or by us! <29-04-2017> B065-Amos, was rescued by Anima on 29th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Wong, reporting that a baby bird was found in Av. do Dr. Francisco Vieira Machado and was unable to fly. Anima–April Rescue (C1508-Jewel)!

<29-04-2017> C1508-Jewel (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong, reporting that a kitten, C1508-Jewel, was found in Rua de Malaca, near Golden Dragon Macau, and was sick. He asked us to help. C1508-Jewel was checked by our vet and de-wormed. She was dehydrated and had low temperature. C1508-Jewel is staying in V6 for observation. Thanks Mr. Leong!
