Anima–April Rescue (C1505-Yoda)!

<25-04-2017> See Yoda when entered Anima and now after the first day! C1505-Yoda (M), around one month old, was collected by Anima on 25th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Adrian reporting that he rescued C1505-Yoda near Escola do Santíssimo Rosário and brought him home overnight. Mr. Adrian tried to feed milk to C1505-Yoda but he was not capable to eat much. C1505-Yoda had severe ocular discharge and was sneezing. He was checked by our vet, de-wormed and he is now being fostered by our staff Peng temporarily, as he needs milk feeding. Thanks Mr. Adrian! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – Culinary Arts Management of IFT visited us!

<24-04-2017> Today, 27 people visited us, 23 were students from Culinary Arts Management of IFT that came to our Dogs’ shelter! They donated to us MOP 83,925.20, the result of their Charity Dinner “Wonderful Land” on April 1st, 2017. Anima was represented in the dinner by our Vice-President Mr. Guy Lesquoy! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! Anima – April Sad News (SPPC1494-Twiz)!

<24-04-2017> SPPC1494-Twiz (M), around 12 years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 12th April 2017, somewhere in Taipa. He was skinny and seemed sick. He was checked by out vet and was staying now in V6 under IV dripping and closed observation. SPPC1494-Twiz was anemic and dehydrated with gingivitis, renal and liver problems. He died today mainly due to his renal and liver problems! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Rescue (SPP1790-Siu Pak)!

<24-04-2017> SPP1790-Siu Pak (F), around twelve years old, was rescued by Anima on 24th April 2017, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that SPP1790-Siu Pak was bitten by other dogs and had several injuries. SPP1790-Siu Pak was sent to a clinic immediately. She had a big wound on the inner right thigh, and several punctual wounds all over the body. The wound on the inner right thigh was big and deep, needing a surgery. The wounds on the body have been done long time ago, were infected and smelled bad. She stays in the clinic. Thanks Ms. Peng! Anima–April Rescue and Sad News (1874-Ballon)!

<24-04-2017> 1874-Ballon (M), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 24th April 2017, after a call from Ms. Fong reporting that a dog, 1874-Ballon, was found in Rua da Alfândega and his hind leg was limping. 1874-Ballon was soaked, smelled bad and had skin problems. 1874-Ballon was sent immediately to a clinic for consultation. An X-rays showed his left Achilles tendon was broken. 1874-Ballon had difficulty in breathing, and it was suspected he has pneumonia. 1874-Ballon passed away at night around 11pm. Thanks Ms. Fong! Anima–April Rescue (C1504-Biscuit)!

<24-04-2017> C1504-Biscuit (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 24th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Lau reporting that a cat was found wandering outside the building where he lives, on Estrada de Coelho do Amaral, since one month ago. He couldn’t find the owner of C1504-Biscuit and he has been feeding C1504-Biscuit on the street. But Mr. Lau doesn’t want him living on the street anymore, so he caught C1504-Biscuit today and brought to Cat Paradise. C1504-Biscuit was sent to our clinic and checked by our vet and de-wormed. <23-04-2017> C1502-Yakira (F) and C1503-Yukio (M), around two weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2017, after a call from Ms. Chau reporting that two kittens, C1502-Yakira and C1503-Yukio were found in R.
