Anima – Escola Kao Yp visited us!

<22-04-2017> Today, 46 people visited us, eight were students from Escola Kao Yp that came to our Dogs’ Shelter! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to March 2017, Anima received 2,603 visitors, an increase of 35.7% as compared with the same period of last year. 28 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and we have been in nine events organized by friends or by us! Anima–April Rescue (1873-Juicy)!

<22-04-2017> 1873-Juicy (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd April 2017, after a call from Mr. Gan reporting that Juicy was found in Terminal Marítimo de Passageiros da Taipa (Jet foil Cotai terminal) last night and was unable to move. She was sent to an Hospital immediately. An X-rays showed that she was hit by a car as her left hind limb was fractured. Mr. Gan asked us to help. 1873-Janice was sent to a clinic for second opinion and stayed there hospitalized for observation. A surgery is required and will be performed tomorrow. After surgery as she is too young, we will keep her. Thanks Mr. Gan! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Adoption (C1440-Jillian)!

<21-04-2017> Jillian was adopted by Mr. Bryan on 21st April 2017! C1440-Jillian (F), was rescued by Anima on 5th March 2017, with an estimated age of one year, after a call from Ms. Wan reporting that a kitten was rescued in Istmo Ferreira do Amaral and she took care of her the night before. She asked us to help as she already has two cats. C1440-Jillian was checked by our vet and de-wormed. She had a nasal discharge and was staying in Anima Cat's Paradise until she was adopted today. Anima – April Fostering (1797-Golden)!

<20-04-2017> Golden was fostered by Mr. Ragghoe on 20th April 2017! 1797-Golden (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th September 2016, when he was around two years old, after a call from Mr. Vidigal reporting that a dog was found with a collar in a trail near Macau International Airport. No microchip was found on him. Golden was staying with us now and Mr. Ragghoe, that intends to adopt him later if both feels comfortable with each other! Thanks Mr. Ragghoe! Anima–April Adoption (1864-Lulu)!

<20-04-2017> Lulu was adopted by Mr. Leng on 20th April 2017! 1864-Lulu (F), was rescued by Anima on 12th March 2017, abandoned in front of Anima, when she was around two months old. She was staying in V1 (vet area room number one) and she was socialized with other puppies in A4 (association area room number four) after quarantine. She was now adopted. From now on, dogs are only adopted from Anima is they are over three months old, dully vaccinated and licensed under the adopter name before leaving Anima. This is a guarantee that the dog will be minimally protected! This is a consequence of the new law and we totally agreed with the license and vaccination to animals over three months old! Anima–April Rescue (B064-Ron Ron)!

<20-04-2017> B064-Ron Ron, was recued by Anima on 20th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Chow reporting that a bird was found in Avenida Doutor Mário Soares and was unable to fly. B064-Ron Ron was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, B064-Ron Ron was still too young to fly. He stayed there for observation. Thanks Mr.Chow! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Rescue (C1501-Luki)!

<20-04-2017> C1501-Luki (M), around 2.5 months, was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Oscar of Anihelp, reporting that C1501-Luki, was found by Mr. Ip in Travessa do Pano and he was soaked and lying in the road. C1501-Luki was sent to a clinic for consultation immediately. He had low temperature and anemia. C1501-Luki was returned to Anima after consultation and he is fostered by our staff Mrs. Peng temporarily for observation. Anima–April Rescue (C1500-Shun Shun)!

<20-04-2017> C1500-Shun Shun (M), around two years old, was collected by Anima on 20th April 2017. According to Mr. Oscar, from Anihelp, he was rescued in Rua da Ribeira do Patane on 14th April as he was sick. C1500-Shun Shun was sent to a clinic immediately for consultation. He had pancreatitis, cat flu, was dehydrated and anemic. He has recovered and was collected by Anima, under an agreement signed between both organizations. Anihelp was responsible for any expenses until the animals enters in Anima, being Anima responsible for every expense after entering in Anima! C1500-Shun Shun was checked by our vet and dewormed.
