Anima- April Sad News (C944-Cayla)!

C954-Cato and C955-Cayla were rescued by Anima on 22nd May 2015, after a call from Mrs. Hui reporting that Cato and Cayla (the mother) were part of a group of seven cats living in a construction site. People there seemed not happy seeing community members feeding the animals. She was also worried the workers will poison the remaining two as three already have disappeared suddenly. C955-Cayla passed away in V6 this afternoon due to severe jaundice and liver problem. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima – Pooi To Middle School visited us!

<29-04-2017> Today, 58 people visited us, 24 were students from Pooi To Middle School, that came to our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to March 2017, Anima received 2,603 visitors, an increase of 35.7% as compared with the same period of last year. 28 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and we have been in nine events organized by friends or by us! Anima–April Rescue (B065-Amos)!

<29-04-2017> B065-Amos, was rescued by Anima on 29th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Wong, reporting that a baby bird was found in Av. do Dr. Francisco Vieira Machado and was unable to fly. <29-04-2017> C1509-Leslie (M), around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Wong, reporting that a kitten was found in Rua do Cunha. He asked us to help. Anima–April Rescue (C1508-Jewel)!

<29-04-2017> C1508-Jewel (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong, reporting that a kitten, C1508-Jewel, was found in Rua de Malaca, near Golden Dragon Macau, and was sick. He asked us to help. C1508-Jewel was checked by our vet and de-wormed. She was dehydrated and had low temperature. C1508-Jewel is staying in V6 for observation. Thanks Mr. Leong! Anima – April Sad News (SPPC1022-Reeze)!

<28-04-2017> SPPC1022-Reeze, was rescued by Anima through Michele on 18th August 2015, and was under our special protection program from that time. She was pregnant! SPPC1022-Reese was found deceased this morning in C9. She was staying in C9 for observation since coming from our clinic on 1st April 2017. Anima – April Abandonment (1629-Keira)!

<28-04-2017> 1620-Ibbie was rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that Ibbie was pregnant and living in a construction site in Coloane. On 12th January 2016, she gave birth to eight babies, 1629-Keira, 1630-Kole, 1631-Kylee, 1632-Skye, 1633-Stammi, 1634-Sorrel, 1635-Bonzel and 1636-Bliss, four males and four females. Keira was adopted on 12th January 2016 and now abandoned in IACM! By the new law, and we disagree, this is not an abandonment! We understand that the idea was to avoid animals to be abandoned in streets! However this decision will facilitate the life of the owner, as he is not heavily fined, but not the life of the animal, our life and the life of IACM! IACM will have to kill more animals, being the “bad guys” in all this process unless we all are capable to rescue them, which is technically impossible! We are trying to...

Anima–April Rescue (C1507-Siu Mic)!

<29-04-2017> C1507-Siu Mic (M), around three years old, was collceted by Anima on 29th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Oscar, from Anihelp, reporting C1507-Siu Mic was rescued by him in Kam Weng Building (Avenida do Ouvidor Arriaga) on 16th April as his left ear was injured. He was sent to a clinic for consultation and was hospitalized since then. He asked us to help as Anihelp has no space. Anima and Anihelp have a cooperation agreement for the welfare of animals, mainly in areas of rescue and adoption. Siu Mic was checked by our vet and internally and externally de-wormed.
