Anima–April Rescue (B064-Ron Ron)!

<20-04-2017> B064-Ron Ron, was recued by Anima on 20th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Chow reporting that a bird was found in Avenida Doutor Mário Soares and was unable to fly. B064-Ron Ron was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, B064-Ron Ron was still too young to fly. He stayed there for observation. Thanks Mr.Chow! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Rescue (C1501-Luki)!

<20-04-2017> C1501-Luki (M), around 2.5 months, was rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Oscar of Anihelp, reporting that C1501-Luki, was found by Mr. Ip in Travessa do Pano and he was soaked and lying in the road. C1501-Luki was sent to a clinic for consultation immediately. He had low temperature and anemia. C1501-Luki was returned to Anima after consultation and he is fostered by our staff Mrs. Peng temporarily for observation. Anima and Anihelp have signed an agreement of cooperation mainly for rescue and adoption! Thanks Mr. Oscar, Anihelp and Mr. Ip! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Rescue (C1500-Shun Shun)!

<20-04-2017> C1500-Shun Shun (M), around two years old, was collected by Anima on 20th April 2017. According to Mr. Oscar, from Anihelp, he was rescued in Rua da Ribeira do Patane on 14th April as he was sick. C1500-Shun Shun was sent to a clinic immediately for consultation. He had pancreatitis, cat flu, was dehydrated and anemic. He has recovered and was collected by Anima, under an agreement signed between both organizations. Anihelp was responsible for any expenses until the animals enters in Anima, being Anima responsible for every expense after entering in Anima! C1500-Shun Shun was checked by our vet and dewormed. Anima–April Rescue (C1499-Gobby)!

<19-04-2017> C1499-Gobby(M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 19th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Wu reporting that a cat was found in R. de Dom Belchior Carneiro with an eye infection and skin problems. A resident in the area was giving food for C1499-Gobby and informed us that he has been sick for long time. C1499-Gobby was checked by out vet and de-wormed. He has upper respiratory tract problem, conjunctivitis, yellowish discharge from the nose and bad coat condition. Medication was prescribed and he is staying in Cat Paradise for quarantine. Anima–Appeal to all Anima Volunteers!

<17-04-2017> Please help us! Anima has at the moment 845 registered volunteers but no capacity to contact all of you and allocate you in specific works. As one of our full time administrative staff has a long time medical leave, we have at the moment only one full time administrative staff that is even being used for shelter support! We need at the moment volunteers capable to help us coordinating the volunteers and doing other administrative jobs like inputs in website, control of godparents and members payments, create group emails and even working in the shelters, making repairs, cleaning, handling animals, decorating or arranging the shelters interiors, or constructing stuff for the cats using materials we have in our warehouse collected from the streets, or just helping us in rescues driving our vans or not! Anima- April Sad News (SPP1142-Leng Mui)!

<17-04-2017> SPP1142-Leng Mui, around four years and three months old,  was living in Coloane Kennel,  from 6th October 2013, under the management of Anima. By an agreement between IACM and Anima, all dogs living in Coloane Kennel are handled by Anima and no one is killed! IACM has there 33 dogs and all are kept alive by this agreement. IACM provides the food and medical care and Anima the staff. SPP1142-Leng Mui passed away in Coloane Kennel last night. According to our staff her spirit and appetite were good a day before. We suspect that Leng Mui may have died of heart attack. Leng Mui was one dog that was handled in the past in a construction site by Anita Yip, a well known Macau animal activist that asked our support as the site was closing. Some of her dogs have moved to Coloane Kennel! She will keep the ashes of Leng...

Anima–April Return (SPPC1416-Barry)!

<17-04-2017> SPPC1416-Barry (M), with an estimated age of three months old, was under our Special Protection Program when was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2017, after a call Michele, reporting that her friend, Mr. Daniel, found a kitten near Ponte 16 the night before. Barry was checked by our vet and dewormed. He had diarrhea and upper respiratory tract infection. He was fostered temporarily by Michele as he needed medication. He was rescued again on 4th April 2017 as he was found with a swollen eye, conjunctivitis and corneal ulceration. He was staying in V6 under treatment and now went back home. Thanks Michele! Anima – April Return (SPPC1244-Jeff)!

<17-04-2017> SPPC1244-Jeff (M), around 3 months old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 27th July 2016, somewhere in Taipa. He was brought to Anima for body check and received his first vaccination. Michele was responsible for him in that area. SPPC1244-Jeff came again on 6th April 2017, brought by Michele, for consultation due to gingivitis. He was checked by out vet and was staying now in V8 for treatment. Now he went back to his place.
