Anima – Tak Chun Charity Association visited us!

<16-03-2017> Today, 46 people visited us, 24 were from Tak Chun Charity Association that visited our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to February 2017, Anima received 1,714 visitors, an increase of 25.8% as compared with the same period of last year. 16 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and we have been in two events organized by friends or by us! Anima–March Rescue (C1469-Katherine)!

<25-03-2017> C1469-Katherine (F), with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima on 25th March 2017, after a call from Mrs. Mak, informing that Katherine was abandoned outside her house in Edificio Yuen Wa. She asked us to help as she has 13 cats already. C1469-Katherine was checked by our vet and she was very dehydrated. She is staying in Anima in V6 (vet room number 6) now. Thanks Mrs. Mak! Anima–March Rescue (C1468-Dorothy)!

<25-03-2017> C1468-Dorothy (F), with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima on 25th March 2017, after a call from Ms. Jonas, informing that he C1468-Dorothy, was living in the car park of Edificio Nga Lim. According to her a cat has died recently due to poison! C1468-Dorothy was sent to a clinic by Ms. Jonas few days ago and stayed there temporarily. She asked us to help! C1468-Dorothy was collected by Anima and checked by our vet and de-wormed. Her hind leg was paralyzed. According to the Ms. Jonas, C1468-Dorothy was able to walk before going to the clinic. The clinic claimed that C1468-Dorothy was staying in the container as she was aggressive and they were completely full, so they didn't know if she was paralyzed. Anima – March Adoption (SPPC1294-Pigeon)!

<24-03-2017> SPPC1294-Pigeon was adopted by Ms. Tam on 24th March 2017! SPPC1292-Ava (F), SPPC1293-Homer (M) and SPPC1294-Pigeon (F), five months old, were rescued by Anima through Michele, on 24th September 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Homer and Pigeon were healthy and they were staying with us for adoption. Pigeon has been adopted in the past, was returned and now is again adopted. Thanks Ms. Tam! Please help us to help them! Anima – March Rescue (SPPC1181 and SPPC1323)!

<24-03-2017> SPPC1181-Davian (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele on 29th April 2016, being around one month old and came back to Anima on 7 March 2017 for consultation. Davian had gingivitis and feel pain when eating. The gums were very red and inflamed. Now on 24th March 2017, he came again for the same reason. He is staying in V8 for treatment now. SPPC1323-Tissy (M), with an estimated age of 15 years old, under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 5th November 2016, somewhere in Taipa. He had upper respiratory tract infection, gingivitis, stomatitis, conjunctivitis and lump. SPPC1323-Tissy came again on 24th March 2017, dehydrated and with abdominal pain. Anima–March Rescue (C1467-Cupcake)!

<23-03-2017> C1467-Cupcake (F), with an estimated age of two months old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd March 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong, informing that he saw a cat in the middle of the road near C.E.M. (Rua Venceslau De Morais) that was almost hit by a truck. Mr. Leong collected C1467-Cupcake and brought her to Anima. C1467-Cupcake was checked by our vet and de-wormed. Anima–March Rescue (C1466-Heero)!

<23-03-2017> C1466-Heero (M), with an estimated age of three years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd March 2017, after our staff found it in a box outside Anima gate in the morning time when they arrive for work. A note was found in the box referring that someone found C1466-Heero injured and brought him to Anima. C1466-Heero was checked by out vet and de-wormed and was full of scratches and biting wounds all over the body. He was not castrated yet and most of the wounds were already healed. <22-03-2017> C1407-Lavinia (F), with an estimated age of one year old, was rescued by Anima on 30th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Maria reporting that there was a cat near Hospital Conde S. Januário and the cat was crying there for a week. Lavinia has watery discharge from the nose. We presume she was already pregnant when she was rescued. C1461-Ruffles (F), C1462-Cheetos (M), C1463-Doritos (M), C1464-Pringles (M) were born on 22nd March 2017, by C1407-Lavinia in C11 (Cats’ Paradise room 11)! Welcome to this world! Anima–March Rescue (C1465-Vantor)!

<22-03-2017> C1465-Vantor (M), with an estimated age of seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd March 2017, after a call from somewhere in Coloane, informing that C1465-Vantor was getting skinner recently, drooling from the mouth and seemed to have skin problems. The cat was very scared of people and they asked whether we could help to catch and provide medical assistance to him. C1465-Vantor was caught and brought to Anima and checked by our vet.
