Rescue and Temporary Accommodation (SPPC1024-Syd)!

<30-01-2017> SPPC1024-Syd (M), was under our Special Protection Program since 19th August 2015, when he was around of 1.5 years old, after a call from Michele, reporting that a cat was found somewhere in Taipa. Today Syd was rescued by Anima, through Michele, as his left front leg was bitten by  other cats and was swollen. He is staying with us under treatment now. Thanks Michele! Anima–January Rescue (C1408-C1410)!

<30-01-2017> C1408-Rachel (F), C1409-Ralph (M) and C1410-Ranald (M), all with an estimated age of few days old, were rescued by Anima on 30th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Shibani reporting that three kittens were found in a carton box near the garbage bin at Rua do Caetano. Anima–January Rescue (C1407-Lavinia)!

<30-01-2017> C1407-Lavinia (F), with an estimated age of one year old, was rescued by Anima on 30th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Maria reporting that there was a cat near Hospital Conde S. Januário and the cat was crying there for a week. Lavinia has watery discharge from the nose. She is staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise under medication now. Thanks Ms. Maria! Anima–January Rescue (1842-Mocco)!

<29-01-2017> 1842-Mocco (M), with an estimated age of four years old, was rescued by Anima on 29th January 2017, after a call from Mr. Andy reporting that a dog was hit by a car in the road of Ka-Ho. Mocco was severely injured, unable to move,  and his nose was bleeding. He was sent to a clinic immediately for an x-ray. The report showed that there was lots of blood gathering inside his chest. Anima–January Rescue (C1406-Karen)!

<29-01-2017> C1406-Karen (F), with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima on 29th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Koo reporting that she used to feed two cats in Hellen Garden and one of them was injured. The injured one, C1402-Kirin, was rescued on 25th January 2017. He was attacked by a new cat over there. His eye was swollen with watery blood coming out. He was checked by our vet and dewormed. The left eye lid got a long cutting wound and four stitches required to close it up. He has stayed with us under close observation with medication already. We set up a trap and today the sibling, C1406-Karen, was caught. Karen is staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise now. Thanks Ms. Koo! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–January Rescue and Sad News (C1405-Sasa)!

<28-01-2017> C1405-Sasa (F), with an estimated age of five months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on 28th January 2017, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a cat body was found on the road in Estrada de Sete Tanques. Sasa had vomited blood. She may have been killed by a car! Her body was collected to Anima to be delivered to Macau kennel. R.I.P. my friend! Thanks Mr. Wong! Please help us to help them! Anima-New Dogs under SPP (SPP1840, SPP1841)!

<26-01-2017> SPP1840-Jock (M) and SPP1841-Key (F), both with an estimated age of two years old, are now under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 26th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Gina, our board member, reporting that she found two dogs in a place of Taipa and no one was taking care of them. Ms. Gina is responsible for them in that area. Anima will support the neuter, food and the medical care if needed. Thanks Ms. Gina! Please help us to help them! <26-01-2017> 1534-Sibala (M), was rescued by Anima on 27th September 2015, with an estimated age of five years old, after a call from Mr. Lung reporting that he couldn’t take care of his dog anymore as his daughter just had a new born baby . Happily the family changed its mind and collected him back on 10th October 2015. Now he came back for a temporary accommodation up to 2nd February 2017! Anima–January Adoption (1502-Saskia)!

<26-01-2017> Saskia was adopted by Mr. Ip on 26th January 2017! See Saskia when was rescued and now! 1502-Saskia (F), now with an estimated age of six years old, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2015, after a call from Ms. Zheng reporting that a dog was found limping in Rua do Visconde Paço de Arcos (Near Bridge 16). Saskia had difficulties to move. 1502-Saskia was sent to a clinic immediately for an X-Rays. The result showed she had not a fracture but a hernia. She would stay with us forever unless adopted as she was not in condition to be released! Saskia was adopted on 16th December 2016. However, she was returned on 19th December 2016 as the adopter said his daughter has an allergy. Today she was adopted again! Thanks Mr. Ip! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima-January Sad News (C319-Arisca)!

<26-01-2017> C319-Arisca (F), now with an estimated age of eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 12th March 2012, after a call from Michele reporting that a cat needed our help. Arisca was found getting sick and refused to eat recently. She was sent to a clinic on 21st January 2017 and was diagnosed with mycoplasma positive. She was not responding well to the new treatment. Arisca was very weak, dehydrated and skinny, had hypothermia and severely anemia as well. She was in suffer already! After a favourable vet opinion and the approval by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!
