Anima–January Rescue (C1403, C1404)!

<26-01-2017> C1403-Penguin (M) and C1404-Tigger (F), both with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were rescued by Anima on 26th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Ao reporting that she found two kittens near Mercado de S. Lourenço on 24th January. Penguin and Tigger were sent to a clinic by Ms. Ao for general check-up. They stayed in the clinic for cleaning up as they had a flea infection and earmites. They are staying in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise now. Thanks Ms. Ao! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–January Rescue (C1402-Kirin)!

<25-01-2017> C1402-Kirin (M), with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima on 25th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Koo reporting that she used to feed two cats in Hellen Garden and one of them was injured. Kirin was attacked by a new cat over there. His eye was swollen with watery blood coming out. He was checked by our vet and dewormed. The left eye lid got a long cutting wound and four stitches required to close it up. Kirin is staying with us under close observation with medication now. Thanks Ms. Koo! Please help us to help them! Anima–January Rescue (C1400, C1401)!

<25-01-2017> C1400-Korsak (M), with an estimated age of five months old, together with C1401-Kitman (F), with an estimated age of two years old, were rescued by Anima on 25th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that her neighbor passed away and left some cats and no one was taking care of them. There was a hole in the door of the flat and the cats were coming out  searching for food. Ms. Peng and the neighbors set up a trap to catch them. C1386-Tebbie was caught on 18th January, C1399-Scottie was caught on 23rd January and both are already with us. The last two cats, Korsak and Kitman, were caught today. They were checked by our vet and dewormed. Kitman seems already pregnant! They are in quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise now. Thanks Ms. Peng and neighbors! Please help us to help them! <23-01-2017> C1399-Scottie (M), with an estimated age of four years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that her neighbor passed away and left three cats and no one was taking care of them. There is a hole in the door of the flat and the cats can come out and search for food. Ms. Peng and the neighbors set up a trap to catch them. Anima–January Adoption (C1374-Caramel II)!

<22-01-2017> Caramel II was adopted by Ms. Filipa on 22nd January 2017! C1374-Caramel II (M), was rescued by Anima on 3rd January 2017, with an estimated age of five years old, after a call from Ms. Filipa reporting that she rescued a cat 1.5 years ago in Cheoc Van but  Caramel II has been wild and aggressive. She reported that he destroyed everything in her house and attacked her young daughter. He was castrated but according to her it couldn’t help to improve his behavior. Anima-January Sad News (591-Wu Choi III)!

<21-01-2017> 591-Wu Choi III (M), with an estimated age of nine years old now, was rescued by Anima on 14th October 2010 and passed away today due to Spleen Problem (Immune Mediated Disease). Wu Choi III was found getting slim few months ago. He was sent to a clinic for consultation but he seemed not improving much. He was then transferred to a second clinic on 4th January and had a surgery to remove the spleen on 9th January. He was returned from the second clinic on 11th January and stayed with us under medication. But Wu Choi III collapsed on 14th January,  breathing hardly and seemed in deep pain. He was sent to the second clinic again and had been staying there under observation. Wu Choi III had a blood transfusion on 16th January as he was very anemic. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it as we were informed that he passed away in the clinic last...

<21-01-2017> C1398-Rainbow (F), with an estimated age of two months old, was rescued by Anima on 21st January 2017, after a call from Mr. Fan reporting that a kitten was found in "Jardim de Luís de Camões" (Camões Garden) last night. <20-01-2017> C1385-Salem (F), was rescued by Anima on 17th January 2017, with an estimated age of ten months old, after a call from Ms. Tam reporting that she found a cat pregnant in the "Auto-Silo do Lido"(lido car park). Salem was sent to a clinic by Ms. Tam for accommodation for one night and then transferred to our Cat’s Paradise. Amble was checked by our vet and dewormed.
