Anima–January Rescue and Sad News (C1372-Yaki)!

<02-01-2017> C1372-Yaki (F), with an estimated age of five months old, was rescued by Anima already dead on the 2nd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Chau reporting that a kitten was found dying in Rua Das Estalagens. Unfortunately Yaki passed away before our rescue team arrived. We collected the body and delivered to Macau kennel. R.I.P. my friend! Thanks Ms. Chau! Please help us to help them! Anima-New Dog under SPP in January (SPP1832-Maltesers)!

<01-01-2017> SPP1832-Maltesers (F), with an estimated age of one year old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 1st January 2017, after a call from Ms. Ng, reporting that she used to feed  dogs in a site of Coloane. Ms. Ng rescued one of the female dogs there as she has distemper and tick fever. She is now in a clinic. Maltesers, a sibling,  was found not good recently. Maltesers will be send to a clinic for consultation tomorrow. Thanks Ms. Ng! Please help us to help them! Anima–December Adoption (1661-Jenson)!

<31-12-2016> Jenson was adopted by Mr. Andrew on 31st December 2016! 1661-Jenson (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th March 2016, with an estimated age of four months old, after a call from a security guard of a company somewhere in Coloane, reporting that a puppy, 1661-Jenson, was trapped in the branches inside the company and Jenson had a collar and leash on. According to the guard, 1661-Jenson was almost hit by a truck. For some unknown reason, Jenson keeps biting himself when he gets excited. And because of that, it was difficult for us to find a family for him. We are happy that Jenson was adopted today. Thanks Mr. Andrew! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–Temporary Accommodation (1322-Jasper) !

<30-12-2016> 1322-Jasper (M), was rescued by Anima on 14 October 2014, after a call from Ms. Chan informing that SPP1260-Mummy gave birth to nine puppies two months ago in a construction site at Ilha Verde. Jasper was adopted by Mr. Joao Miguel on 2nd November 2014. Now he is staying with us for eight days until 6th January 2017. If you adopt an animal from us you have the privilege to leave your animal in Anima during 15 days free of charge in the first year of adoption, provided we have space. Never buy, please adopt! Anima–December Adoption (C1207, C1308, C1313)!

<30-12-2016> Viggo, Kuromi and Asahi were adopted by Dr. Ruan on 30th December 2016! C1206-Vick (M), on the time with an estimated age of one month old, with C1207-Viggo (M), on the time with an estimated age of three weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 27th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that two kittens were abandoned in a container outside Paróquia de Fátima in Macau. We picked them up and they were checked by our vet. They were weak, skinny and dehydrated. Viggo was in a more serious situation, he had fleas all over his body and hypothermia. Both of them were taken care by our cats’ staff Ms. Peng temporarily as they needed milk feeding. <30-12-2016> 1831-Oakly (M), with an estimated age of one year old, was rescued by Anima on 30th December 2016, after a call from our Supervisor of our Cat´s  Paradise, Ms. Connie, reporting that a dog was found tied up in front of Cat´s Paradise this morning. Anima-December Sad News (C304-Wilder)!

<29-12-2016> C304-Wilder (F), was rescued by Anima on 25th November 2011, after a call from Michele reporting that a cat needed our help somewhere in Taipa. Wilder was found severely dehydrated and skinny few days ago. She was sent to a clinic immediately. She had hypothermia, heart rate was fast, breathing was not clear and the lung was not working well. She was staying in the clinic for treatment. Unfortunately we were informed by the clinic that she passed away today. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-December Sad News (C1346-Kara)!

<29-12-2016> C1346-Kara (F), was rescued by Anima on 30th November 2016, with an estimated age of three years old, after a call from Mr. Ferreira reporting that a cat needed our help. According to Mr. Ferreira, his friend had over ten dogs and one cat at home, but his friend disappeared suddenly and the contract of the apartment finished on 1st December. Mr. Ferreira also mentioned that his friend didn’t treat the animals well. Most of his dogs were adopted already and only one dog and one cat was not. The last dog was picked up by another animal welfare association and we took over the cat. Kara was checked by our vet and dewormed. She was found very weak this morning and was sent to a clinic immediately. We found that her abdomen was severely infected that we couldn’t do anything to help. Anima-December Sad News (C335-Pinta Preta)!

<29-12-2016> C335-Pinta Preta (F), was rescued by Anima on 12th April 2012, after a call reporting that a cat needed our help. The owner of Pinta Preta passed away and no one could take care of her. Pinta Preta refused to eat and had dehydration recently. She was sent to a clinic and ultrasound showed that one of the kidney got enlarged, not sure if it's a tumor. She had been staying in the clinic for a while and came back to Anima on 27th December 2016. She was transferred to a second clinic for another opinion in the next day. According to the second vet, Pinta Preta had problems on her liver and kidney. We were informed by the clinic that she passed away last night. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!
