Anima–December Return to Family (1721-Konya)!

<17-12-2016> See Konya now and Konya when adopted! 1721-Konya (F) was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for 14 days since 3rd December 2016. Konya was adopted by Mr. John Roy on 25th August 2016. SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), on the time around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. An ultrasound showed that the fetus were already approx. seven weeks old. So we have decided to keep the future puppies! 1721-Konya together with 1718-Kimon, 1719-Kennis, 1720-Kuni, 1722-Kassie, 1723-Komie, 1724-Kolm, 1725-Kulee and 1726-Kerin were born on 11th May 2016. Anima–YMCA Macau Visited Us!

<17-12-2016> Today, 21 people visited our Cat Paradise, five of them were from YMCA Macau! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! Anima–December Adoption (C1322-Rose)!

<17-12-2016> Rose was adopted by Mr. José on 17th December 2016! C1322-Rose (F), was rescued by Anima on 4th November 2016, with an estimated age of two months old, after a call from Ms. Gina, our board member, reporting that a kitten was found by her friend Mr. Fernando in Sé Cathedral. Rose was sent to a clinic by Mr. Fernando as she had an eye infection. Rose stayed in the clinic for observation. She has recovered and was adopted today. Thanks Mr. José! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–December Adoption (1502-Saskia)!

<16-12-2016> Saskia was adopted by Mr. Gomes on 16th December 2016! 1502-Saskia (F), with an estimated age of six years old now, was rescued by Anima on 21st July 2015, after a call from Ms. Zheng reporting that a dog was found limping in Rua do Visconde Paço de Arcos (Near Bridge 16). Saskia had difficulties to move. 1502-Saskia was sent to a clinic immediately for an X-Rays. The result showed she had not a fracture but a hernia. She would stay with us forever unless adopted as she was not in condition to be released! Saskia has stayed with us until now. Thanks Mr. Gomes! Please Adopt and never Buy! Abandonment, Cooperation Anima-IACM (SPP1443)!

<15-12-2016> Anima is taking care of around 30 dogs in Coloane kennel under an agreement between IACM and Anima! This agreement allows IACM and Anima to keep some dogs caught by IACM alive in Coloane kennel under Anima management! SPP1443-Seafood (M) was one of the dogs living there. He was adopted on 13th October 2016 and was returned to Macau Kennel on 21st November 2016. The explanation of the adopter was that she has no time to take him for daily walks, and her environment has become cluttered and unmanageable as Seafood has been sick twice and  had ticks. Please think carefully before you make an adoption decision! Be sure you are able to take care of them. Seafood was transferred to Coloane Kennel for adoption today. He is under Anima staff management. All animals in Coloane Kennel have play times as this is a principle in Anima. No animal is caged, no animal is killed! IACM...

Anima-Temporary Accommodation (1827-Eris)!

<15-12-2016> 1827-Eris, is now accommodated in Anima for 20 days, until 3rd January 2017, by our member Ms. Irene. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 50 patacas per day and for cats 30 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450 patacas, enough to pay two annual membership fees in the first case and one and a quarter year of membership fees...

Rescue and Cooperation with IACM (C1355-C1368)!

<15-12-2016> C1355-Tabasco (F), with an estimated age of one year old, C1356-Tamale (M) and C1357-Tattoo (F), both with an estimated age of three years old, C1358-Taz (F), with an estimated age of two years old, C1359-Terabyte (F), with an estimated age of nine months old, C1360-Thunder (M) and C1361-Tiger (M), both with an estimated age of one year old, C1362-Titano (M), with an estimated age of six months old, C1363-Titanic (F) and C1364-Titus, both with an estimated age of one year old, C1365-Tracker (F), with an estimated age of two years old, C1366-Tundray (M), C1367-Turbo and C1368-Twilight (F), all with an estimated age of one year old, were rescued by Anima on 15th December 2016, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. Anima-December New Dog under SPP (SPP1826-Ama)!

<14-12-2016> SPP1826-Ama (F), with an estimated age of three years old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 14th December 2016, after a call from Mr. Billy reporting that a skinny dog was found somewhere in Coloane. According to the guard, Ama has been living there for a long time and someone used to feed her in that area. Our rescue team is responsible for her in that area from now on. Anima-December Sad News (B060-Sunny)!

<13-12-2016> B060-Sunny, was rescued by Anima on 12th December 2016, after a call from Michele reporting that a bird was found unable to fly somewhere in Taipa. Sunny was sent to a clinic and stayed in the clinic for observation. We were informed by the clinic that Sunny suddenly collapsed this morning and passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–Dog Under SPP Returned (SPP1814-Doto)!

<13-12-2016> Doto was released on 13th December 2016! SPP1814-Doto (M), was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 15th November 2016, with an estimated age of one year old, after a call from Mr. Lam reporting that a dog was hit by a car in Seac Pai Van. His right front leg was crushed by car and the ankle was swollen and deformed. Doto was sent to a clinic and x-ray showed that the leg had fracture. The vet fixated the fracture part, and it was healed by himself with bandage and treatment. Doto has been staying in the clinic until he has fully recovered. Doto was returned to his former place today. Ms. Ieong and Mr. Lam are responsible for him in that area. Thanks Ms. Ieong and Mr. Lam! Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet!
