Abandonment, Cooperation Anima-IACM (1397-Addis)!

<01-12-2016> 1397-Addis (M), formerly a  puppy under our SPP, was adopted on 19th March 2015. Addis was one of the five puppies of SPP1393-Adelina that was found pregnant and rescued by us on 22nd January 2015. Anima was informed by IACM on 24th June 2016 that 1397-Addis was rescued by a resident in a street and delivered to Macau kennel on 15th June 2016. Anima tried to contact the former adopter with no success! Addis was in IACM waiting that the adopter receives the letter from IACM. We would collect him back if the adopter abandon him! We were so ashamed of this adopter! We never disclose the names of who abandoned the animals adopted from us but remember we have posts of all our activity from at least the first of January 2015! Anima–December Rescue (SPP1596, SPP1628)!

<01-12-2016> SPP1596-Basia (F), on the time with an estimated age of one year old, together with her siblings SPP1592-Benton, SPP1593-Bevis, SPP1594-Bond, SPP1595-Benton, SPP1597-Belva and the mother, SPP1598-Benita that were under our Special Protection Program since 4th December 2015, lived in a site, somewhere in Coloane. SPP1628-Hakon (M), on the time with an estimated age of five years old, was under our Special Protection Program since 9th January 2016, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that Hakon refused to eat for few days. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. The blood test showed that he was severely anemic. Hakon had recovered and was returned to his former place on 6th March 2016. Basia and Hakon were caught by IACM on 8th November 2016 in a road of Ka Ho and they were rescued by Anima on 1st December 2016. Hakon is under medication now as he has tick fever. Anima–December Rescue (C1347-Dicey)!

<01-12-2016> C1347-Dicey (M), with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima on 1st December 2016, after a call from our staff reporting that a cat was found inside our cat trap on the ceiling of our Cat Paradise. Dicey was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has Upper Respiratory Tract Infection, severe Stomatitis and Gingivitis. Some premolar and molar were missing. He is under observation now. Anima–December Adoption (C1315-Okra)!

<01-12-2016> Okra was adopted by Ms. Ao on 1st December 2016! C1315-Okra (F), on the time with an estimated age of five years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd October 2016, after a call from Ms. Ao reporting that she rescued a cat on 15nd October 2016 in Rua de Kun Iam Tong. Okra was sent to a clinic by Ms. Ao as she had difficulty to breathe. According to the vet, her stomach was inside the chest, and the right hind leg was fractured. Ms. Ao asked our help because she couldn’t afford the surgery expenses. Okra was sent to a second clinic by us for further examination. She had the surgery and the surgery was risky. We hoped everything would be alright. She stayed in the clinic for a while. She has recovered and was adopted today. Thanks Ms. Ao! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima–December Adoption (SPPC1293, SPPC1294)!

<01-12-2016> Homer and Pigeon were adopted by Mr. Cheng on 1st December 2016! SPPC1292-Ava (F), SPPC1293-Homer (M) and SPPC1294-Pigeon (F), were rescued by Anima through Michele with an estimated age of five months old, on 24th September 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Ava had upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. She was sneezing, the right eye lid was reddish and inflamed. She was under medication. Anima–December Adoption (SPPC975-Julie)!

<01-12-2016> Julie was adopted by Ms. Wong on 1st December 2016! SPPC975-Julie (F), on the time with an estimated age of two years old, was under our Special Protection Program since 18th June 2015 and was rescued by Anima on 17th March 2016, after a call from Michele reporting that she needed a de-sex surgery. She was spayed and fully vaccinated. She was returned to her former place on 12th May 2016. Julie was brought to Anima again by Michele on 24th September 2016, as she was getting skinny. She had upper respiratory infection, stomatitis and gingivitis. She was dehydrated, the mouth was in pain, the gums and the pharynx were very much inflamed. Her mandibular lymph nodes were swollen, and the eyes got inflamed with discharge as well. She stayed with us under medication and observation. She has recovered and stayed with us until now. Anima–December Abandonment (C1311-Yuki)!

<1-12-2016> C1311-Yuki (M), with an estimated age of eight years old, was supposed to be accommodate in Anima for seven days, from 15th October 2016 to 22nd October 2016. According to the owner, Yuki was given to him by his friend. The owner had paid one week accommodation fee. In the first beginning, we were still able to contact him, but after he just disappeared without telling anything. On the date he supposed to pick up Yuki, which he didn’t, his first excuse was his girlfriend forgot to come. Few days after, he second excuse was, he was moving apartment and was too busy. And one more week after, he was not attending the phone anymore. Our president and our Supervisor sent messages to him but got no reply at all. Anima-November Sad News (R029-Panda)!

<30-11-2016> R029-Panda (M), on the time with an estimated age of two years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that a rabbit was abandoned in Triângulo dos Amigos do Jardim inside a cage. Panda was sent to a clinic as he was crooked in one side and he was not able to move. His left ear had infection and the left eye had dacryocystitis. He had been staying in the clinic for treatment until yesterday. The bone of his neck had deformed and he would stay crooked forever. He couldn’t stand and walk properly. He was suffering and had poor life quality. He was even not capable to eat by himself! After discussed with our vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
