Anima–December Rescue (SPP1711-Browny)!

<04-12-2016> SPP1711-Browny (F), with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPP1712-La La and SPP1713-Hac Chai 2, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 26th April 2016. La La and Hac Chai 2, that were caught by IACM, are now living in Coloane Kennel under our supervision. Browny was rescued by Anima today on 4th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that she accidently hit Browny in a site of Coloane. Browny’s right hind leg was limping. She was sent to a clinic and Ms. Peng will responsible the payment of clinic. Browny is having a surgery today. Please be careful when you drive, be sure there is no animal beside your car first! Anima–December Rescue (C1349-Grey)!

<04-12-2016> C1349-Grey (M), with an estimated age of six years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2016, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that a skinny cat was found in Rua de Cinco de Outubro. Grey was sent to a clinic for consultation. He has an eye infection and dehydration. He is staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Mr. Ho! Please help us to help them! Anima–Temporary Accommodation (C575-Zhai Zhai)!

<04-12-2016> Zhai Zhai is now accommodated in Anima for 33 days until 5th January 2017. C575-Zhai Zhai (M), was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2013, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a cat was found with one leg hurt, in a site of Macau. Ms. Lam is the volunteer who helps Anima to take care of dogs and cats in a site. Zhai Zhai was sent to a clinic and stayed there for treatment. Anima decided after the recovery that he has no conditions to go back to that area and as so he was welcome to be part of our family. Zhai Zhai was adopted by Mr. Victor on 19th December 2014. Anima–December Adoption (C1299-Julio)!

<04-12-2016> Julio was adopted by Ms. Guan on 4th December 2016! C1274-Jerica (F), was rescued by Anima on 3rd September 2016, with an estimated age of one year old, after a call from Mr. Lee reporting that he used to feed stray cats near Our Lady of Carmel Church and there were around six female cats not yet spayed. We set up a trap and Jerica was caught. She was brought to Anima and was already pregnant. Three kittens, C1299-Julio (M), C1300-Jeffery (M) and C1301-Jorge (M) were born by her on 7th October 2016. Anima–Nichi and Tango Need New Homes!

<04-12-2016> Please help Nichi and Tango to find adopters as soon as possible! We received a message from Ms. Taylor on 4th December 2016, reporting that there are two dogs being mistreated by her neighbors and they need a new home. Nichi (F), a Golden Retriever, with an estimated age of 14 years old, was spayed already. Tango (M), a Schnauzer, with an estimated age of four years old, is not yet castrated. We were told by Ms. Taylor that they are locked in a balcony all day in  small cages and the owner wants to take them to IACM to put them sleep. As far as we understood they came to her house for  bath an were delivered back to the former owner, as she has two dogs already, and according to her, it is difficult for her to keep two more. Anima-Temporary Accommodation (1599, 1600, 1823)!

<03-12-2016> 1599-Siu Fa, 1600-Boss and 1823-Sweet Potato, were accommodated in Anima,  by our member Mr. Chan, for 10 days until 12th December, . This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates. For dogs, 50 patacas per day and for cats 30 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption, provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450 patacas, enough to pay two annual membership fees in the first case and one and a quarter year of membership fees...

<03-12-2016> See Konya now and when she was adopted! 1721-Konya (F) is now accommodated in Anima for 15 days, until 17th December. SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, with an estimated age of 1.5 years old, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng reporting that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. An ultrasound showed that the fetus were already approx. seven weeks old. So we have decided for keeping the puppies! 1721-Konya together with 1718-Kimon, 1719-Kennis, 1720-Kuni, 1722-Kassie, 1723-Komie, 1724-Kolm, 1725-Kulee and 1726-Kerin were born on 11th May 2016. Anima-December Sad News (B056-BB)!

<03-12-2016> B056-BB was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina reporting that a bird was found soaking and unable to fly near Macau Polytechnic Institute. BB was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, BB was still very young and had not learnt how to fly. BB was sent to a clinic and had been staying in the clinic for observation. Anima-December Sad News (C432-Whitney)!

<03-12-2016> C432-Whitney (M), with an estimated age of seven years old now, was rescued by Anima on 22nd November 2012, after a call from Ms. Lee reporting that an injured cat was found in the border gate. He had been staying in the clinic since 23rd November 2016 due to Dermatitis. He had severe skin lesion on the back, the skin was inflamed and irritated, found with Feline Pancreatitis and dehydrated as well. Unfortunately Whitney couldn’t make it. We were informed by the clinic that he passed away last night and the cause of death was Pancreatitis. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!
