Anima–November Rescue (B055-Gipper)!

<06-11-2016> B055-Gipper was rescued by Anima on 6th November 2016, after a call from the Traffic Department reporting that a tourist found an injured bird near Hotel Lisboa. Gipper was sent to a clinic. Some blood was found in Gipper’s mouth, suspected to be hit by a car. Gipper is staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Traffic Department! November Rescue and New cat under SPP (SPPC1323-Tissy)!

<05-11-2016> SPPC1323-Tissy (M), with an estimated age of 15 years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 5th November 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Tissy was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has upper respiratory tract infection, gingivitis, stomatitis, conjunctivitis and lump. He is staying with us temporarily for observation now. Anima – School of Nations has received us!

<04-11-2016> Anima has visited, from 9:00 to 9:45,  the School Of Nations. This visit was arranged by three Form 4 Students from the school, inviting us to make a presentation to two classes of Primary 2 students. We introduced our association and our daily work, also to let the students know we should love and be kind to all animals. Around 50 kids were involved in this event. Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Anima–November Rescue (C1322-Rose)!

<04-11-2016> C1322-Rose (F), with an estimated age of two months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, our board member,  reporting that a kitten was found by her friend Mr. Fernando in Sé Cathedral. Rose was sent to a clinic by Mr. Fernando as she has an eye infection. Rose is staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Ms. Gina and Mr. Fernando! Please help us to help them! Anima–November Sad News (SPP1809-Siu Hac)!

<03-11-2016> SPP1809-Siu Hac (M), was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 17th October 2016 with an estimated age of two years old, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a dog was getting slim, pathetic and vomiting that morning. Siu Hac was brought to Anima for consultation. He had renal problem and needed to stay with us temporarily for medication. He was sent to a clinic yesterday as his condition was getting worse. He vomited twice in the clinic with blood and refused to eat in the past two days. We were informed by the clinic that Siu Hac passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–November Rescue (C1320, C1321)!

<03-11-2016> C1320-Goma (F) and C1321-Ginger II (F), both with an estimated age of four years old, were rescued by Anima on 3rd November 2016, after a call from our staff, reporting that someone told them there were two cats in front of the entrance of the Water Company near Anima. Our staff found two cats inside the container over there. The cats were checked by our vet and dewormed. After we have found the two cats, Anima received a call from the owner telling that she didn’t pay the rent long time and her landlord got back the apartment and put her two cats near our shelter, asking us for collecting them. The owner claimed that her friend will come to Anima to pick them up as she is not in Macau right now. Goma and Ginger II are staying with us safety now. We will not give them back to the previous owner! Please...

Anima–November Adoption (SPPC1292, C1303)!

<02-11-2016> Ava and Anna were adopted by Mr. Fok on 2nd November 2016! SPPC1292-Ava (F), SPPC1293-Homer (M) and SPPC1294-Pigeon (F), were rescued by Anima through Michele with an estimated age of five months old, on 24th September 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Ava had upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. She was sneezing, the right eye lid was reddish and inflamed. She was under medication. Homer and Pigeon were healthy and they were staying with us for adoption. C1303-Anna (F), was rescued by Anima with an estimated age of three months old on 8th October 2016, after Mrs. Wong informed us that Anna was found in a carton box under Victor Garden at Rua Direita do Hipodromo. Anna was checked by our vet and dewormed. Ava and Anna have stayed with us until now. Thanks Mr. Fok! Please Adopt and never Buy! UMAC Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College Visited Us!

<30-10-2016> Today, 31 people visited us, 16 of them were from UMAC Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! Anima–Cat Under SPP Returned (SPPC1132-Steve)!

<30-10-2016> Steve was released on 30th October 2016! SPPC1132-Steve (M) and SPPC1133-Magoo, were under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima with an estimated age of eight months old on 24th February 2016, after a call from Michele reporting that Steve and Magoo live somewhere in Taipa under Michele’s responsibility. Anima provided both of them the de-sex surgeries in that day. Steve and Magoo were returned to the site after the surgeries, in good health condition. Steve was rescued by Anima through Michele again on 28th October 2016. Steve had gingivitis and refused to eat, his gums were inflamed as well. He stayed with us temporarily for treatment.
